Chapter Twenty Six

There's silence responding to her from the other side. Then she looked at the Caller ID. It's a private number. She wonders who that might be.

“Hello. Can you hear me? Hello”.

“You shouldn't waste your tears on worthless people. Your every drop of tear is worth more than you know”.

She jerked out of shock hearing an intense manly voice from the other side. She has never heard that voice before. It brought a chill to her body. Her mind ran wildly hearing his words. How did he know she was crying? There's no way for him to know that.

“May I know who you are?”. She asked out of curiosity, hiding her anxious state. She's going through both nervous and anxious. Then she heard a sexy chuckling sound from the other side.

“You sure it's what you want to know? I thought you might be curious to know how I know”.
