Chapter 51

Sierra felt confused by the attitude that her parents seemed to embody. She felt something was hidden but could not figure out what it was. Her curiosity and uneasiness grew when Audie dodged her questions.

"Never mind, Sierra. We have to go now," Audie said in a somewhat hurried voice, trying to distract Sierra from her questions.

However, Sierra could not shake the strange feeling that haunted her. She asked Gama, who was accompanying her in the wheelchair, directly.

"Gama, what's going on with mom?" asked Sierra, trying to find an answer from the person closest to her.

Gama shook her head gently. "It's okay, Sierra. We'll talk about everything later. Now, let's go home," said Gama, trying to calm Sierra down.

However, Sierra still felt anxious and dissatisfied with Gama's answer. However, she did not have the strength to hold on any longer. She felt frail and devastated by the events that had just happened.
