Chapter 25

Romina pov~

Tears welled down my cheeks as I remembered how father left us despite our pleading and crying.

"Daddy please don't leave us please daddy!" "What will happen to us if you leave daddy"I cried out bitterly with a heavy heart.

Dad just came back from work that day and mom as usual bought out his dinner, instead of eating the egg salad mom prepared with her last money. He went inside the room together with mom.

"Dear what is wrong?"mom asked as she followed  him to the room with a sad expression.

I was only 16 years old,I just sat down on the couch and waited for Dad to come down and eat his food and probably remain a little for me but what I saw that day was something else.

Dad descend  from the stairs with his luggages while mom run after him crying and begging him not to leave.

"Dad what happened?"I asked as I stood up from the couch.
