Forgiven, still In Love.

At that moment, Kate knew that she had a decision to make. She could hold onto her anger and hurt, or she could choose to forgive and move forward.

After a long pause, she opened her eyes and looked at Alexander. "Okay," she said softly. "I forgive you."

After a prolonged silence, Kate slowly opened her eyes and gazed at Alexander. "Okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I forgive you."

Alexander stood rooted to the spot, his eyes were wide with disbelief.

Sebastian, their son, couldn't contain his excitement. "Mom, have you really forgiven Dad?" he asked eagerly.

"Yes, Sebastian, I have," Kate replied, her eyes still fixed on Alexander.

"Mom, if you've truly forgiven Dad, give him a hug," Sebastian insisted.

Kate hesitated, unsure if she was ready to take that step. "What, a hug?" she asked, her voice quivering.

"Yes, Mom. If not, you haven't truly forgiven him, you lied," Sebastian stated matter-of-factly.
