Chapter 35 - Hospital Internship
"Miss Belle, let's have some snacks" Dr. Stan approached Belle at her table where she was reading some patients' charts. Belle was startled since she did not hear the door open of the doctor's lounge where she was all alone.
"I'm fine Dr. Stan. I will just wait for Phil and Shine later" Belle smiled politely at the young doctor who is still staring at her with his peculiar expression.
"Do you have a boyfriend Miss Belle?" Belle gaped in surprise with the unexpected question, unaware that the doctor's hand was about to hold her face when a loud thud sounded outside the door. They were both startled and the doctor hurriedly went to the door to open but there was no one or anything that could make such a loud sound.
