Chapter 21: Stranger To The Dark

The thought of sleeping on the same bed with Zion has been hunting Amy since she finished packing her things in his room.

Amy looks at the clock in wonder; “ has the clock sped up? Why is it determined to give her a heart attack? She looked outside and it was getting dark. In an attempt to distract herself, Amy joined the chef in the kitchen to make dinner.

After dinner Amy stayed back with her mum to watch a TV program though she wasn’t interested in the show, She was buying herself some time.

“ I feel so sleepy and tired, I think I’ll retire to bed now,” Amy's mum told her as she left for her room.

The clock on the mantelpiece ticked away the hours, its rhythmic sound echoing through the dimly lit living room.
