Chapter 10

It’s only been two days since I’ve seen Creed, and I’m not sure if our distance is helping or hurting my wolf. I felt so relaxed when I was in his arms, but now I just feel anxious and kind of depressed. We spent the whole night talking after the party, and we told each other everything.

Creed has been through a lot, and I hope he succeeds at overthrowing his father. It would be the best thing for his whole den. I wasn’t really shocked that his king is a power-hungry fool. After all, I’m from Green Ridge. We save supernaturals from that exact scenario all the time, and it’s the main reason I need to keep my powers hidden.

The one thing that did surprise me was the fact that he’s a virgin, just like me. That’s almost unheard of with male wolves. They can barely control themselves and stay away from she wolfs until they are old enough to get their wolfs. There’s something special about knowing we will be each other’s first.
