Chapter 31- Distant Relatives

Both of July's hands held Joe's body trying to give her a hug. This is the usual rejection reaction July shows to any guy trying to do something to her. The same thing happened to Alastor when first met July, in front of the wedding altar. Alastor can see July is indeed showing such a resolute and clear self-defense reaction, resisting a man trying to approach or touch her aggressively.
