13 Derrick and Hailey

Derrick was eager to keep his promise to his younger sister, and for this reason, he had to trace Hailey down to her father's house.

Although he was scared to go to the house, nevertheless, he was determined to get back Hailey as his girlfriend despite her pregnancy.

He drove to the address that was given to him by Mrs. Lorelei's driver.

Derrick found himself standing before a tall gate after parking his car in an open place.

He sighed in relief and said to himself,“ You are a man, Derrick. You can do this.”

He assured himself after standing there staring at the gate for almost an hour because he was afraid of what Hailey might do to him.

After a few minutes of pondering, he summoned the courage and called out to the gatekeeper.

Within seconds, the gateman slowly opened the gate. “ May I know you, please?” the young man asked Derrick.

“Of course, yes. I'm Dr. Derrick, and I'm here to see… Hmm…”
