Catherine's POV:

After what seemed like a number of eight whole minutes, that extremely horrible smell of rotten carcass no longer irritated my nose. It was as if it suddenly disappeared like bubble exploding in the air, making me guess that the most terrifying, and dangerous werewolf who had just stepped into my room knowingly escorted himself out of the area. His scent now becoming weaker and weaker until it was already out of reach for as far as the heightened senses of the wolf within me can possibly go. I didn't dare make another sound or initiate one movement from where I stood just in case that stinking scoundrel was planning to come back.
