**Alexander’s POV**

My pack house was in disarray. The wildfire burned in several places, thus making my pack members run here and there in search of a place to hide.

However, there was none!

I shrieked at people, nudging them towards my palace, for that was the only place untouched.

But whenever I pushed them towards my palace, they would run in the opposite direction.

I didn't know what was going on and why they chose to leave the safety of where I was leading them to, to their death.

I gazed around in confusion, unsure of what else to do.

There were corpses scattered around the floor. It consisted of men, women, and children of all ages, who had been killed in the attack.
