Chapter 6: Exiled Rogue

Marsai's POV

I twisted my body on the bed countless times as my eyes opened slowly. It was as if a heavy load had been relieved from my head.

Stretching my arms out with my eyes wide open, the rays from the sun struck my face and I trembled.

The scent of the house hit my nostrils and I could inhale a tiny bit of dust. Roaming my eyes around the place, I noticed something strange.

"How did I find myself here?" I asked no one in particular. The surroundings of the house looked deserted and the house was looking strange with its tiny windows.

I tried recalling things but I could not. The last thing I was able to remember was a wolf staring at me.

I jolted immediately from the bed and checked every part of my body looking for scars and deep cuts but I couldn't find any. I was very sure that I got an injury somewhere. How did it miraculously disappear?
