Chapter 142: The End

I could not believe that we had just failed the task. I didn't know what fate had in store for us, after this.

Then I noticed that the ghosts looked as if something was communicating to them, then they looked back at us.

"You failed the task, but you have been graced. You will leave now and will be transported back to your destination." The first ghost said, then snapped his finger and in the blink of an eye, we were at the Benitoite forest.

"Thank goodness. We made it!" Alfred raised his hand for a high five, which we did.

Then we began to walk around the forest, trying to search for the gem.

"It's really hard to find the gem. It is so rare and I guess that is the reason most people are after it."

"Of course. These gems generates a huge amount of money for those in possession of it. They know very well that people covet it, so it is sold at a high price." Alfred said as he continued to search around the forest.

"I think we need to take a break. I'm kind of feeling tired.
