Rules

(A.) Only selected human girls are allowed to enter the palace. Once inside, they are considered participants. They cannot leave or withdraw.

(B.) All girls must compete to become the final chosen breeder for the Alphas. There can only be one final winner.

(C.) The Alphas design daily trials to test obedience, resilience, physical health, and mental strength. These include serving tasks, endurance challenges, and loyalty tests.

(D.) Eliminations happen regularly. A girl who fails or disobeys is immediately expelled from the competition. In some cases, she might be punished or humiliated first as a warning.

(E.) Alliances or romantic connections among the girls are strictly forbidden. Such behavior results in automatic elimination.

(F.) Only the Alphas are allowed to TOUCH the girls. Unauthorized touching or seduction attempts lead to severe punishment or elimination.

(G.) Failure has immediate consequences. A failed task results in public punishment (flogging, forced kneeling, confinement in dark cells) before elimination.

(H.) Eating and sleeping schedules are strictly controlled by the Alphas. Meals are privileges, not rights, and may be delayed, reduced, or denied at will. Girls may be woken up anytime or forced to serve while exhausted. A strict curfew of 10 p.m. is enforced, though they can still be summoned after.

(I.) The Alphas may demand any girl at any hour to appear or perform any act of intimacy. She must comply instantly and without question or suffer immediate, public punishment.

(J.) No privacy is allowed at any time. Girls are constantly watched while eating, bathing, and sleeping to break their sense of dignity and control.

(K.) Girls are required to bear physical marks of ownership during the selection. These can include temporary brands, collars, or carved symbols. This reminds them they are nothing more than breeding stock.

(L.) Those who fail the Alphas are led beyond the final threshold. No path leads home, and no voice ever answers again. The palace devours the weak; their fates claimed by the shadow

(M.) Once chosen, the final girl must undergo a public marking ceremony to become the Alphas’ breeder. Refusal is not an option. Disobedience at this stage is punishable by death or severe consequences for her family.

BONUS RULE: MERCY IS NOT AN OPTION.

There was a twisted look on my face as I silently read the rules. It was fucking absurd. A breeding stock? Seriously? We were living things. They just dished out the rules as they wanted. We were required to submit. As I stared at the paper, my eyes kept landing on a particular letter. L.

The rule was vague and the more I thought about it, the more it became confusing about what it meant. At the same time, everything was fucked off. It felt more like it was just a game to the Alpha, to which they were having fun. The selection was a joke.

“You should freshen up.” Aria’s voice jolted me and I looked up to look at her. I already told mom to send me some clothes and she promised to do so, Meanwhile, the twins offered me something to wear, and the dress they gave me kind of swallowed me up, I had to manage it.

“I…”

“You have to be agile, Amber. There are 15 girls participating. Being timid will not help you. Freshen up. It’s almost time for dinner.” I only nodded my head and then I stood up as I went into the bathroom.

My shower was quick and when I stepped out again, Aria and Alina were already waiting for me. Dressed. They were bigger, prettier, and more confident than me. I already knew that I was going to be the first girl to get eliminated. I would never stand a chance.

“Come on.” I only nodded and the three of us walked out of the room. Alina already knew the way and she led us through. We soon arrived at the dining table and there was a huge table with a lot of food served on the table and the other girls were already present.

My stomach grumbled and I was reminded of how hungry I was. I was quick to have my seat but I did not start eating immediately as there were guards around.

After all the girls had settled. A man spoke. I had not seen him before. He was handsome and he had this calm expression on his face. “I'm Damon and the Alpha's beta. I will be briefing you on everything that will be required of you. For now, have your dinner and retire to your rooms.” He spoke with a calmness that made my skin crawl, as if all of this was completely ordinary to him.

The moment he did, we took it as a cue that we were supposed to start eating. I immediately reached out for a plate and I served myself some food. The food tasted so good and I could not remember the last time that I had such good food.

“Why are you eating like a pig?” I suddenly heard a sneer and slowly looked up from my plate, I could feel all pairs of eyes on me.

“You are eating like you've never had a good meal in your life.” Well, I haven't.

“Sienna, leave the girl alone. She obviously needs it. Have you seen how small she is? Her pussy will never be able to handle two dicks. She needs to—”

“Can you just stop and focus on your food instead? It's not your business if she decides to eat quickly or not.” Alisa snapped, coming to my rescue. I could not look up from my plate, but Sienna scoffed. I could feel my throat tightening and my fists shaking.

“Whatever. She looks so weird. I think she's a freak. Geez, why eat like a dog?” She snickered and some of the other girls chuckled.

“Ignore Sienna. She thinks she will get chosen as the breeder. Her father owns a very huge fashion house. I heard he rejected the money that was paid to them. He just wants his daughter to be the breeder. Ignore her.” Aria whispered to me and I only nodded, but the truth was that I felt like crying. I wanted to vanish under the table. Every bite turned to ash in my mouth. It wasn’t okay. None of this was okay. But in this place, what I felt didn’t matter at all.
