Laura stared at the venue in awe, the hall was huge, it was painted black and white, with two huge empire chandeliers on the ceiling. The wooden floor was smooth, two long tables were set on the far end of the hall.

The room was packed with men in black tuxedos and women in black gowns. "Good evening Don" a man with a butt belly, and dirty blonde hair said.

"Hmm Dmitry Medvedev nice to see you here'' Alex said to the man whose name Dmitry Medvedev.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to meet good people like yourself and it is rare to get an invitation to your gatherings" Laura almost choked on her spit when she heard Mr. Medvedev call Alex a good man.

"We always host the best" a waiter dressed in black and white offered them drinks, and Mr. Medvedev waited for Alex to take a drink first before he did as a sign of respect.

"Bring apple juice for the lady," Alex said and the waiter left.

"She can't handle her liquor?" Medvedev asked looking at Laura
