I loathed this location, yet I'd put it all on the line for Sophia, Amelia, and Thorne.

The aroma of Night Fang territory struck like a vicious onslaught. It mixed heavy animal scent with decay, rust, and murky standing water—the reek of a monster nestled in its own grime. Every breath felt like an outrage, the atmosphere latching onto my lungs like venom. But underneath, softer than a sigh yet blaring in my spirit, was her. Sophia.
