Jessica's POV

Pain shot through me as I yanked out the tubes, my hands trembling.

A sharp sting followed, and warm blood trickled down my arms, staining the pristine white gown I wore.

My breath came in ragged gasps.

"What are you—" Lisa’s voice broke with alarm. "Stop that, Jess! You're going to hurt yourself!"

But I didn’t listen.

A crimson pool spread across the hospital bed, the sharp scent of blood filling the sterile air.

Lisa lunged forward, trying to push me back down, but I caught her wrist. My grip was weak, but my determination was not.

"I can’t stay here, Lisa. I need to leave." My voice cracked, tears spilling down my face.

She stilled, her dark eyes locking onto mine, reading the truth I didn’t need to say aloud.

I wasn’t just trying to escape the hospital. I was trying to escape the Pack.

Lisa had planted the seed a few days ago—an idea that had taken root in my desperate mind.

The only way to leave was to find a mate. If fate was kind, then my mate wouldn’t be bou

Jessica’s POVI stood in the middle of a clearing, wrapped in suffocating darkness so thick it felt alive, pressing against my skin like an unseen force. A chorus of whispers slithered through the air, seeping into my mind, threading through my thoughts like poison.I strained to decipher the voices, but they were like a flood—murmurs overlapping, drowning each other out. Then, a single voice cut through the chaos—sharp and haunting."I told you you'd be mine, Jessica."A figure appeared before me, a dark silhouette emerging from the shadows. I staggered backward, trying to avoid who it was.Lightning then slashed across the sky, illuminating the person's face. My breath caught in my throat."No, it can't be," I muttered. It was like I was staring into a mirror—except the girl in front of me wasn’t just a reflection. She was something else. Something wrong.I took a few steps back, trembling, my pulse hammering in my ears. She reached for me. I recoiled, but her fingers clamped a

Michael’s POV“What the hell just happened?” someone muttered behind me.Like I had a clue. No one did.“Well, that was pathetic,” Luna Annie sneered, her voice laced with amusement.I clenched my jaw, forcing down the growl that threatened to escape. Reacting would only make me look suspicious. I had never heard of someone's shift reversing before. It simply wasn’t possible. Before Jessica’s shift had begun, Raymond had reached out to us through the Alpha bond, urging us to say something to trigger the transformation. Karl had eagerly set the stage, starting the taunts, and the rest of us had followed suit.I hadn’t wanted to, but when every Alpha in the arena was playing along, I had no choice. And yet, instead of completing her shift, Jessica now lay motionless on the ground. The reversal had happened so fast that none of us even caught the color of her fur before it vanished beneath her skin.“Have you ever seen anything like this before, Claudia?” Karl asked, his gaze locked on

Jessica’s POVA wave of whispers swept through the crowd like dry leaves rustling in the wind.Low murmurs, hushed voices—some curious, others mocking. All of them about me.Then, one by one the seven succumbed to the change. Muscles stretched, bones cracked, and fur sprouted from their skin. Some let out sharp piercing growls as they completed their transformations, shaking off the last remnants of their human forms. Some warriors and shifters tore through their skin, shifting into their wolves. They darted forward, leading the newly turned ones into the woods, their paws thudding against the earth. And yet, I stood there, unchanged and alone.A heavy silence fell when Alpha Karl’s voice cut through the murmurs like a blade."Raymond!" His tone was sharp, laced with doubt. "Are you absolutely sure the she-wolf you got pregnant gave birth to her in this month?"A muscle ticked in Raymond’s jaw, but he didn’t pay Karl any attention. Instead, his piercing gaze remained locked on me."

Jessica's POVBeck and Ethan stood inches apart, their bodies rigid, eyes locked in a silent battle of dominance.Tension filled my room like lightning before a storm."That’s enough, both of you!" I snapped, stepping between them with my hands raised, determined to keep them from tearing each other apart.Ethan’s voice was sharp with anger. "I should be the one asking you why you're here!"Beck scoffed, a smirk playing at his lips. "Oh really? I thought you were mated to her sister?" His tone was mockingly taunting. "Tell me, Young Beta, what would your mate and the Alpha say if they found out you barged into the room of an unmated—""THAT’S ENOUGH!" I shouted. The air around us pulsed, thick and electric. Then, in an instant, both of them collapsed.A stunned silence filled the room.Ethan groaned, trying to push himself up, but he faltered, blood dripping from his nose. "How... how do you keep doing that?" His voice was laced with disbelief.Beck lay on the floor, his eyes wide wi

  • Bound By Love And Prophecy    023_A Human?

Jessica's POV I swallowed hard, trying to maintain my composure, even as my pulse quickened.Beck had an amused glint in his eyes."Do you think I'm a killer?" He asked, a slow smile tugging at his lips.I scoffed. "I think you're a survivor."Beck arched a brow, his expression unreadable. "That's one way to describe a twelve-year-old boy who killed someone.""Do you want me to think you're a killer?" I teased, tilting my head."Not really," he mused, studying me. "Just curious."I chuckled, leaning back. "Why are you so interested in what I think about you?"He rolled his eyes. "I'm not. I'm more interested in what you think about my brothers."His words caught me off guard. I hesitated, considering my answer. "Um, well, your brother with the black eyes is nice. He—""You mean Lloyd?" he interrupted, his tone sharp. "Why do you think so?"I frowned slightly but answered, "He helped me once in the woods."Something in Beck's gaze darkened. "When was that? Before we met in the Hall of
