Thalia's POV

The air inside the club was so thick. Not just with bodies, but with music that was so loud it vibrated through my shoes and into my bones. Lights flashed everywhere. The whole place smelled like sweat and fancy perfumes and cheap drinks.

I never expected myself and Blaze to be at a fucking club!!! Like…yo. I had literally thought we were just going to some spy job, but I was wrong. Hell wrong. It was total chaos, but in a really cool, exciting way.

Blaze had basically pushed me through the main floor, his hand on my back like he owned me. We got to this roped-off part — the VIP section maybe.
