Dalton closed the folder he was reading. He looked at Orius Crale before motioning to the sitting area.

“I'm glad you came at once, Mr. Crale," Dalton said, walking from his desk towards Orius.

Orius chuckled awkwardly as he took a seat. “Don't mention it, Mr. Guevarra. I was already on the way, after all. Now, should we discuss our partnership?"

Orius eagerly handed the proposal to Dalton. But Dalton merely placed it on the table after accepting it from him.

"I would like to talk to you about something else first, Mr. Crale.”

"What about Mr. Guevarra?” Orius asked, although he already knows what it was about.

"It's about Sabrina. I had thought that we already reached an agreement days ago?” Dalton went straight to the point.

There was no point beating around the bush. Plus, he had a lot of things to do.

Orius deeply sighed before responding, “We did, Mr. Guevarra. And I thought I made it clear to Sabrina,” he looked down unhappily. “To be honest, I don't know what happened.”
