Chapter 6

Author's POV

Demon was working at his cabin when he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," Demon said and his assistant entered his cabin being scared.

Demon kept working without looking at the person because he has known it was his assistant and he will speak up by himself.

But, when he didn't say anything. Demon looked up at him and spoke up "If you have come here unnecessarily then it will be bad for you"

His assistant gulped nervously and spoke up, "Sir, Mr. William cheated on us. He has broken our deal. We agreed to work on a project together but he back off after we completed our part of the project. I warmed him as we signed the deal and we can case on him using his sign but that moment I came to know an unpleasant truth"

Hearing this anger rose into Demon's vein. He fists his hand in anger.

"What was the unpleasant truth?" Demon asked his assistant.

"The deal we signed that was fake. We can not take legal action against him" His assistant said to him fearfully.

"Who signed the deal?" Demon asked him controlling his anger.

"Your dad sir. You were out of the county that time and they asking again and again for the sign so I requested sir and he signed it" His assistant said.

Hearing this, Demon leaned to this chair and closed his eyes.

"Did you invite him to tonight's party?" Demon asked him.

"Yes sir. He and his family will be there" His assistant said to him.

"I want every information about his family. Every member's information before night " Demon ordered him.

"I have already collected all information, sir. Here is it" Saying this his assistant put a file in front of him.

"You can go now," Demon said and his assistant left immediately.

Demon took the file and started reading.

"So, he has one son. Jackson William. But why he worked at a school when his father owns a top company in this country? Demon asked himself.

" wait, he works at Nathan's school. Is the bastard planning something?" Demon asked himself.

Suddenly, his heart started breathing faster thinking about the safety of his beloved son.

Demon took his phone and called his mother.

"Mom, where is Nathan? He is okay, right? Demon asked as soon as his mom picked up the call.

" Nathan is okay Demon. He is playing with your dad. And try to come home earlier today my boy" Mrs. Knight said to him. Q

Demon sighed in relief hearing this.

"Okay, mom. I will be there soon" Nathan said and disconnected the call then called his assistant

"Come to my room right now," Demon said disconnected the call.

Soon he heard a knock at his door.

"Come in," Demon said and his assistant entered his room.

"Why Jackson worked at a school?" Demon asked him.

"Sir, he liked a teacher, of this school and for her, he worked there" His assistant informed him.

Demon nodded at him.

"Hire the best security and tell them to guard my boy" Demon ordered him.

"Okay sir," His assistant said and left the room.

Demon looked at the file and first his hand in anger. You will pay greatly for cheating on me.

Whispering, this Demon walked towards his big glass window from where he can see the whole city.

Demon looked at the busy city just then his eyes fell on a poster.

A model was showing a revealing dress in the picture.

Demon's eyes turned red in anger because the model was no other than his ex-wife Katrina whom he used to love more than his life and the same girl abandoned him and his one-day-old baby boy just because of her bullshit modeling career.

Demon looked at the poster when his past came in front of her.

Starts Flashback,

5 year back

23 years old young businessman was checking the model list for his new fashion show.

When Demon was checking his eyes fell on a beautiful picture. Demon's heartbeat stopped for a second. He kept looking at the picture. He took the file and looked at the information.

"Katrina Smith"

Age 22

Demon whispered her name with an unknown emotion.

"She is so beautiful," Demon said and called his assistant.

"Come to my cabin" Demon said and disconnected the call.

Soon his assistant entered his cabin.

"I want every information about this model Katrina Smith" Demon said to him.

"We have already had her information, sir. She is new in the modeling line. She applied to us just after she completed some ads. She is from London. She came from after her parents got separated. She moved here with her mother" His assistant said to him.

"So, she has her mother only in her life?" Demon asked him.

"Actually sir, her mother got married again after moving here but again got divorced after two years. Her mother was a model also. That's all I know about them. But if you want I can search about them sir" His assistant said to him.

"No, you don't need to search about them. I will take care of it just inform her that she got selected as our model" Demon said.

"Okay, sir" Saying this his assistant went away.

Demon smiled at the picture and took out his phone and called his personal informer.

"Good morning, Mr. Knight" He greeted Demon.

"I want every information about Katrina Smith within two days" Demon ordered him.

"Okay sir," He said and Demon disconnected the call but Demon didn't know that Katrina already purchased his assistant and personal informer, and that information his assistant just gave him all was fake.

End Flashback

"I wish I never looked at her picture" Demon whispered and looked at the poster with pure hate.

Demon turned and looked at his watch. It was already 6 in the evening. Demon took his bag and left for his home.

At Knight

When Demon entered the living room with some chocolates for Nathan, he saw Nathan was drawing a picture sitting on a couch.

"What is my little man doing?" Demon asked happily.

As soon as Nathan, heard his father's voice he left his drawing and ran towards him happily.

"Daddyyy"

Demon got down on his knees and opened his arm.

Nathan jumped in his arms. Demon stood up and throw Nathan in the air.

Nathan starts laughing happily.

Demon's tiredness went away when his son's soft voice reached to his ears.

Demon sat on the sofa and put Nathan, on his lap then handover the chocolates.

Nathan took the chocolates happily and kissed his dad's cheek.

"What you are drawing little man?" Demon asked him.

Nathan took the paper and gave it to Demon.

Demon looked at the picture and Nathan, stars explaining.

"Dad, this is you. This is me and this is mommy" Nathan said to him happily.

Hearing the mommy word Demon got shocked.

"You don't have any mother. I am your both mother and father" Demon said to him softly.

Nathan looked at his father, and spoke up," Daddy I want something"

"Just order my boy," Demon said to him thinking this the mother's topic went out from his head.

"I want mommy" Nathan demands making Demon frozen at his place.

"Love go to your room. I have put a lot of gifts on your bed. Go and see them" Mrs. Knight spoke up from behind.

"Really!" Nathan got so excited and ran towards his room.

"What is happening here?" Demon asked looking at his parents.

"You have to marry again for Nathan. He needs a mother" Mrs. Knight said and Demon stood up angrily.

"What the hell you are saying, mom?" Demon asked being angry and frustrated.

"Watch your tone young man. Your mom is right. You don't know that your beloved son got bullied by his classmates just because he doesn't have a mother. You are a famous figure Demon. Media spread the news everywhere, that your wife abandoned you and Nathan. Nathan's classmates started teasing him saying this he was an unwanted child. Nathan will get mentally depressed if he stays in the condition. He even asked your mom that was he an unwanted kid?. Don't you think it is too much for this four-year-old boy?

Only a mother can take him away from these negative thoughts. We don't care about your decision. You want or not but you have to marry again. Tomorrow, you will meet the girl. Hope you don't fail to fulfill your son's wish" Mr. Knight said and went towards Nathan's room.

Demon went to his room angrily. Mrs. Knowing looked at her son's retreating figure and sighed deeply.

Demon entered his room and started breaking everything in anger. He was not angry at his parents but at himself, because some bastards bullied his son, and he unable to protect him.

After breaking everything, Demon fell on the ground. His hands were bleeding.

His father's words started replaying in his mind.

You don't know that your beloved son got bullied by his classmates just because he doesn't have a mother. You are a famous figure Demon. Media spread the news everywhere, that your wife abandoned you and Nathan. Nathan's classmates started teasing him saying this he was an unwanted child. Nathan will get mentally depressed if he stays in the condition. He even asked your mom that was he an unwanted kid?. Don't you think it is too much for this four-year-old boy?

"I can do everything for my boy" Demon whisper.
