First Person's Perspective

Elena

I looked at the note in my hands. Another dinner invitation. From Salvatore. Again.

My fingers curled around the paper as I read the words over and over. After everything that happened at Percy’s wedding, after all the mean looks and whispers, I thought he would stop asking me to come to these dinners. But here it was again, another invitation, written in neat handwriting, brought to me by a guard who wouldn’t even look me in the eye. He handed it over and walked away quickly, like he was afraid to stay near me for too long.

The dining hall looked different tonight. The usual bright, blinding lights were gone. Instead, there were small candles flickering softly, casting a warm glow around the room. The long table that was always filled with too much food now had fewer dishes. It felt... more private. More personal. Like this dinner was meant to be different.

Salvatore was already sitting at the head of the table when I walked in. His dark eyes followed

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 53

First Person’s PerspectiveElenaI woke up suddenly. For a moment, I just lay there, staring up at the big golden ceiling above me.The intricate designs glimmered faintly in the soft morning light that bled through the heavy curtains. It looked the same — grand, majestic, intimidating. But somehow, everything felt different.I felt different. My heart was beating fast, like I had been running in my dream, chased by something I couldn’t see. My breathing was shallow, almost like my own body didn’t know whether to calm down or stay alert.I turned my head slowly, looking around the vast bedroom. The crystal chandelier hung motionless above me, the velvet chairs near the fireplace sat untouched, and the silk sheets around me still smelled faintly of roses and something darker — something that reminded me of him.Salvatore.Just the thought of his name sent a complicated shiver down my spine.I sat up carefully, pulling my knees to my chest, hugging them tightly like I could somehow prot

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 52

First Person’s PerspectiveElenaI stood in the middle of the bedroom, staring around with wide eyes.I had expected it to be beautiful, yes.I had expected it to be luxurious, extravagant, maybe even flashy. But this… this was something else.It was majestic. The walls were painted a soft gold color, and they shone under the lights like the inside of a treasure chest. The chandelier hanging from the ceiling was made of tiny crystals, and when the light touched them, it looked like stars were falling all around the room, spinning and dancing in the air.The bed was massive — bigger than anything I had ever seen — with soft white sheets tucked in perfectly and a thick velvet blanket draped over it. Even from a distance, I could tell how soft it was, as if it would swallow me whole the moment I lay down. The curtains were heavy and deep red, brushing the polished wooden floor like royal robes. They framed the tall windows that overlooked the garden, where I could see the faint twinkling

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 51

First Person's PerspectiveElenaHermione walked back and forth in the dimly lit room, her expensive dress brushing against the floor with every step. Her heels made a soft clicking sound, and her movements were fast, filled with frustration. She had her arms crossed tightly over her chest, and her fingers dug into her skin. Her nails, painted a deep red, pressed hard into her palms as she clenched her fists. Her breathing was uneven, her lips pressed together in a firm line. Her face, usually composed and elegant, was twisted in pure anger.Ares stood near the wall, watching her with cold, expressionless eyes. He was relaxed, but his posture held an edge of danger. His arms were crossed over his chest, his sharp gaze never leaving Hermione. The dim light in the room made the shadows on his face look darker, giving him a more intimidating presence."I cannot take this anymore," Hermione said sharply, her voice filled with bitterness. "That human girl walks around this place like she o

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 50

Third Person's PerspectiveElena sat on the edge of the bed, staring out the window. The curtains were open, letting sunlight pour into the room, casting a warm glow on everything. But despite the light, despite the warmth, she felt cold. It was an odd kind of cold, the kind that settled deep inside her, making her feel empty, like something had been taken from her. The problem was, she didn’t even know what it was.She pressed a hand against her chest, trying to make sense of it. Her heart was beating. She was breathing. Everything was normal. But deep inside, something felt wrong. It was like waking up from a dream, knowing something terrible had happened in it but not being able to remember what. No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t figure out why she felt this way.The door creaked open, and Salvatore walked in. His movements were quiet, controlled. He was dressed neatly, wearing a black shirt that was buttoned all the way up. His sleeves were rolled to his elbows

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 49

First Person's PerspectiveSalvatoreI noticed the change in Elena right away. It was like watching sunlight disappear behind dark clouds right before a storm. One moment, she was warm and bright, and then suddenly, she was distant and cold, as if someone had flipped a switch inside her. Before, she would always find me in the library, bringing two cups of tea, one for herself and one for me. She would sit beside me, sipping slowly while reading a book or asking me about my day. Now, whenever she saw me walking down the hallway, she would stop, turn around quickly, and walk the other way, her shoulders hunching like she wanted to shrink into herself.During meals in the great hall, she sat as far from me as possible. The long dining table gave her plenty of distance, and she made sure to keep it that way. Her eyes stayed locked on her plate, and she pushed her food around with her fork without really eating. If I asked her a question, she would answer in the shortest way possible, nev

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 48

First Person's PerspectiveElenaThe banging on the door was so loud that it made the entire wooden frame shake. The sound echoed in my ears, each hit like the beat of a drum played too fast. My heart pounded just as wildly in my chest, fear wrapping around me like a tight rope."Elena!" Salvatore's deep voice boomed from the other side. His tone was sharp, edged with anger. "Open this door right now!"I pressed my back harder against the door as if my weight alone could keep him out. My knees were pulled tight to my chest, and my arms wrapped around them like a shield. Tears poured down my face, hot and unstoppable, but I bit my lip to stop any sound from escaping. I didn't want him to hear me cry. I didn't want him to know how afraid I was. Then there was a terrible crash. The door shook violently. He was hitting it, something heavy slamming against the wood. Once. Twice. The third time, the lock snapped with a sharp crack. The door flew open so fast that I gasped. Salvatore stood i

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 47

First Person's PerspectiveElenaThe first thing I noticed when I walked into Marta's room was the smell. It was strong and heavy, like a mix of old sweat, bitter herbs, and something sharp and metallic, like blood. The air felt thick, pressing down on my chest. The curtains were not fully open, letting in just a little bit of light. The room was dark, almost like a shadowy cave.Marta was lying in bed. Her face was so pale, almost like white paper. Her lips were dry, cracked at the corners. Her chest moved up and down very slowly, like every breath took all the strength she had left. I swallowed hard, pushing away the tight feeling in my throat.A bowl of cool water sat next to her bed. I dipped a cloth into it, then squeezed the extra water out. A few drops fell onto the wooden floor, making tiny dark spots. I carefully wiped her forehead, pressing the cloth against her cold skin. She felt too cold, like a stone left outside in the winter."You will get better," I said, trying to so

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 46

First Person's PerspectiveElenaThe days after the big fight with Silas felt different. Everything in the pack house seemed quieter, slower, like the whole place was holding its breath. But the biggest change was Salvatore. Before, he was always distant, cold, like a shadow I could never reach. He was there, but he wasn’t really present. He barely spoke to me unless he had to, and even then, his words were short and sharp, like he didn’t want to waste time on me. But now, it was different. He was around more, and at first, I thought he was just keeping an eye on me because the pack still didn’t trust me. But little by little, I realized it wasn’t just that. He was watching me, yes, but not in the same way. His gaze was different. It wasn’t just cold observation—it was something else, something I didn’t quite understand. One morning, I was sitting by the window in my room, watching the trees sway in the wind, when the door opened without a knock. I turned, startled, and saw Salvatore

  • Bound to Alpha Salvatore    CHAPTER 45

First Person's PerspectiveSalvatoreEverything in my mind finally made sense. The dead hunters we found in the woods, their throats ripped open like wild animals had attacked them. The poisoned well water that made even our strongest warriors sick, some of them vomiting for days. The mysterious fire that burned down the stables, killing two of our most prized stallions. The way my entire pack suddenly turned against Elena, treating her like an outsider, whispering about her as if she were a threat. It was all too perfect, too well thought out. Someone had carefully planned every little detail, making sure everything fell into place. And now, I finally understood why.I found Ares in the training yard just before the sun set. He was sitting on an old wooden bench, running a sharpening stone along the edge of his hunting knife. The rough scraping sound filled the air, grating against my nerves. My jaw clenched as I stood over him, waiting for him to acknowledge me."We have a big probl
