Logan’s POV

As we walked out of the dress shop, I couldn’t help but notice how skinny Veronica was when I placed my hand on her back. I glanced at her, but her eyes were fixed to the ground, she was lost in her own thoughts. It was understandable, today was overwhelming to her. She had never been to town and being around so many people. She had always been trapped away from society, only around people she knew.

“Are you alright?” I asked softly.

She looked up at me, her gaze didn’t meet mine, “I’m fine. Just processing everything.”

I tugged my hands into my pocked, looking up at the sky, “That’s understandable. I get it. But there is one more thing that we have to do today.” It was silent, then I continued, “I want you to meet my pack.”

Her eyes widened slightly, “Your pack?” She asked with hesitation.

I nodded as I opened the car door for her, “Yes. You’ll be staying there, so it would just be fair for you to meet everyone.” She climbed in, and I made my way around the car and climbe
