Kieran’s POV:

I shoved the blanket off and stumbled from the bed. Adrien called my name, I could not hear anything. I wanted to turn around and tell him that I am fine but I couldn't. I was already halfway across the room, I ran into the bathroom and fell to my knees over the toilet just in time to throw up.

It felt endless. Violent and ugly.

Adrien followed and dropped down beside me on the cold marble floor without hesitation. He didn’t flinch. He just sat next to me and rubbed my back, his other hand steadying my shoulder.

“It’s okay,” he whispered. “Let it out. I have got you. I am right here.”

I gagged again, my throat raw and burning. My eyes stung from the pressure. My chest heaved. Adrien stayed with me the whole time, patient and quiet, his touch never leaving my body.
