Kieran's POV:

“…Fine,” he said at last, exhaling through his nose. “But don’t make it weird.”

I laughed. “You have seen me naked more than once. You think I will be shy?”

“I think you will be annoying,” he muttered, turning toward the bathroom. “Like always.”

He was trying to act unfazed. But I noticed the slight hitch in his step as he walked ahead. The way his shoulders tensed when I followed. He knew. He could feel the charge between us.

By the time we reached the bathroom, Adrien turned on the water and adjusted the temperature, his back to me, muscles moving under skin that begged to be kissed.

I cleared my throat, keeping my gaze respectful, at least for now

“I will grab the waterproof plaster,” I offered, walking to the side shelf. My fingers found the sealed pack the doctor gave me before discharge. I tore it open and brought it over.
