The moment he left, Kieran broke into a fit of laughter. He is really not sane. I get why His Majesty is always so worried about him.

"That fucking loser. He is scared of a guard. I can't believe that he is the defence minister." He shook his head, "Don't worry, he will never ask for your help and he is just holding that office because of Lord Alister. He is his father and due to all of his loyalty to the royal family, my father was forced to hire his incompetent piece of shit."

I nodded in understanding.

"You must be thinking we are nothing but puppets and I hate to admit it but yes we are. We cannot do anything without the approval of the council. Trust me, the moment I will get in power, I am going to terminate this council for good. They have been loyal in the past but not anymore. Now they are nothing but greedy bunch of asses. I hate them-"
