Raven's POV

I walked into the hospital with my heart in my mouth. I couldn't wait to see April looking back at me.

'Be careful, you might fall,' Roy said but I ignored him and walked briskly into the hospital.

I opened the door of April's hospital room and disappointment washed over me. April was still lying there with her eyes shut.

Roman had asked Roy to give me the phone because he wanted to tell me the good news himself. He had said April was awake. Why, then, was she still in bed sleeping?

I walked into the room properly while Roy closed the door. Marcus, Bella, and Roman weren't in the room.

'I thought Roman said she was awake,' I said with disappointment coating every word.

'I guess she must have woken up. She is off the machine,' Roy said from behind me and that was when I realized that even the IV that was transfusing the blood had been removed.

I sighed in relief before asking Roy 'Why then is she still sleeping?'

'I guess we might have to speak with...' Roy was cut short

The heat from the both of them was so soothing that I just stood there with my eyes closed and let them undress me.
