*ADRIENNE'S P.O.V*

THE WITCH? Was this "the witch?"

Arlana gave a brief smile and then ducked into the tent and took a seat beside me. She was even prettier up close.

"You are the witch," I asked, but it was more of a statement.

She nodded. "And you are... the Luna," she said, laughing softly.

What was she on about?

Was she a friend or foe? I was wary of her and told myself not to trust her pretty face and easy smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "You said you are from the Amazon River pack. You are a long way from South America." I said, putting my hand over the fire.

Arlana shrugged. "I had a feeling to stop here before I continued my journey." She patted her stylish hair with a well-manicured hand. "Maybe the gods wanted to tell me something or show me something."

"The moon goddess, you mean," I corrected.

"We have different beliefs, Luna," She said. "But yes, maybe all this was designed by a higher power. Maybe we were meant to meet."
