❤️ Vyrelen’s Good Side ❤️

Tharros Chamber:

Tharros hadn’t slept at all. Not even a little. His eyes had stayed on Nyxoria the whole night, watching her face like it was the only thing in the world that mattered. He didn’t blink much, didn’t move either. He just sat close to her, staring and thinking, his mind racing even though the room was quiet.

A soft knock came at the door.

He didn’t turn his head. “Come in,” he said, already knowing who it was. He could tell by the way the knock sounded that it was one of the werewolf guards outside and of course by the scent.

The door opened and an older guard walked in, a man with short black hair that had patches of grey at the side, and a neat beard that gave him a serious look. He bowed deeply before straightening up again. Tharros didn’t say much.

“What is it?” he asked, sounding calm but distant, like he already had a good idea.

“My Emperor,” the guard began, “High King Vyr is here. He said he wants to see you and our Empress.”

❤️ The Chamber of Secrets ❤️Vyrelen's Chamber:Dika didn’t even realize when sleep had taken her. One moment she was watching Vyrelen sleep and didn't know when her eyes closed, resting, and the next, her eyes slowly fluttered open. The room was quiet, dimly lit, and the first thing she noticed was the warmth beneath her cheek. Her head was resting on Vyrelen’s chest. She blinked up at him and found him already awake, his eyes watching her calmly like he had been waiting for her to stir. She gave a soft chuckle and gently sat up on the bed, brushing a hand through her cornrows.“You’re awake?” she asked, her voice still laced with sleep.Vyrelen nodded slightly, the faintest smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Yeah, I slept a little but then I woke up and I was awake all through the night. You fell asleep on me, and I didn’t want to move or wake you. I liked it... having you resting there on me.”Dika yawned and stretched a little. “I didn’t even know I was that tired after you

Cat got your tongue because you know I’m right, Myrrak?” Queen Lynn asked, folding her arms and raising a brow at him.Myrrak looked at her for a long second, then let out a deep sigh, running a hand through his white hair. “Sometimes I really wonder what goes on in that head of yours, Lynn. You twist things too fast,” he said quietly, then added, “You’re the only one I care about. Don’t ever forget that.”“Then prove it,” she said again, her tone sharper than before, like she didn’t believe him at all.“We’re fighting Erezhul together, risking everything just to finish what we started. Isn’t that enough proof for you, my love?” Myrrak asked, his brows lifting slightly as he looked at her, trying to get her to see the truth in his eyes.Queen Lynn shrugged and looked away. “I don’t know with you anymore. People change, Myrrak. Feelings change too. So just remember, if you ever backstab me, I won’t let you get away with it. I’ll drag y

❤️ Unwelcome Choices ❤️Nyxoria let out a small laugh, shaking her head as she leaned just a little closer to him. “Mad? No, Arros. You’re not mad. I’ve been with you long enough to know what madness looks like, and you… you’re not that. You feel everything too deeply to be insane, so no.”Tharros looked at her, his expression unreadable for a moment, and then asked, “So you’re saying you don’t believe any of the stories they tell about me? The rumors of me killing the former Emperor?”“Not one bit,” she replied without hesitation, her voice calm but sure. “Like I said before, you’re not mad. Even if the whole kingdom says you are, even if they whisper it behind your back or scream it in your face, to me… you’re not. You’re not mad to me, Arros.”There was a long silence after her words. Tharros didn’t say anything for a while, just looked at her, really looked at her, as if trying to figure out how he had ended up with someone like her, someone who saw him, really saw him, his own be

❤️ Truths Between Us ❤️Tharros let out a slow, deep sigh and set the half-eaten apple down on the tray on the table, not even caring that the fruit rolled slightly and bumped against the jug of wine. His eyes, however, never left Nyxoria’s. He was studying her now, watching her closely like he always did when he was deciding whether to tell the truth or hold it back. The flicker of a smile played at the corner of his lips, one that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “And how exactly did you come to that kind of conclusion, my Nightfire?” he asked, voice low and calm, like he was both impressed and cautious.Nyxoria rolled her eyes, leaning forward just a little. “Come on, Arros,” she said softly, her voice brushing his name like food. “I’ve remembered everything now. You don’t need to keep anything from me. I’m not the same little girl who was confused and afraid of them. I’m asking for the truth, that’s all. Just tell me the truth.”Tharros looked away for the first time, not because he w

❤️ A Game of Loyalty (2) ❤️Lady Bana didn’t waste time as she knelt before Lynn. Her face was tight with anger, and her words came out fast. “I just got back from Aurora’s palace and you won’t believe the insult. She treated me like nothing! No respect. Even when I mentioned your name, she didn’t flinch. She even told me some useless story like she was trying to prove a point. I threatened her, Queen Lynn. I told her you would come, and guess what she said?” Queen Lynn turned slowly, her eyes cold and unmoved. “Let me guess…she told you to come bring me yourself?” Bana hissed under her breath. “Yes. Exactly that. She even said she would be waiting.” Lynn let out a small, dry laugh and walked toward the edge of the room, her long gown trailing softly behind her. “Life is full of surprises, Bana, isn't it? Just like how you surprised me when you went behind my back and woke Myrrak up. I didn’t ask you to. But you did it anyway.” Bana frowned, her tone more defensive now. “What’s th
