Chapter 2 Wedding Night

After the wedding ceremony, Natalie was driving to Rosewood Estate in the wedding car. The Rosewood Estate was a castle-like mansion located on the most beautiful hill in Paykston. As they entered the estate, the guards saluted respectfully.

Inside the estate, the castle-like buildings stretched on, with the main house and the annex clearly distinguished. Behind them, there was beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, as well as leisure facilities such as a golf course and a racecourse. There were also training grounds and shooting ranges.

Upon arriving here, Natalie realized that compared to the Windsor family, or more specifically, Oliver, the Watson family was nothing more than a humble household.

"Madam, greetings!" Natalie got out the car, and in front of the main house stood about twenty men and women dressed in uniform. They all spoke in unison, and even the arc of their bows was the same.

"Madam, please come inside. I am the butler here, you can call me Uncle Liam," the elderly man in the lead spoke, while the others merely nodded without sparing her a glance.

"Thank, thank you," Natalie felt uneasy. The polite demeanor of these servants was clearly forced, and although they seemed to respect her, they didn't take her seriously.

Natalie was not assigned to the master bedroom but a guest room. It seemed that Oliver didn't like her as his wife.

"Uncle Liam, may I ask where Oliver is?" Natalie entered the main house but didn't see Oliver's figure.

"Oliver has gone out."

"..." The groom, rumored to be too weak to attend the wedding, went out, wandering?

He must be purposely ignoring her!

"Uncle Liam, when Oliver comes back, can you please let me know?" Natalie asked.

She didn't lose her temper.

Mr. Liam's eyes flashed with appreciation, and he replied calmly, "Of course."

However, Natalie woke up the next day without seeing her newlywed husband.

The groom didn't attend the wedding, and on the wedding night, the bride was left alone in an empty room, the guest room.

No wonder Hailey went to great lengths to have her replaced.

This kind of marriage...

Natalie laughed at the sky. It was simply a cage.

...

Oliver returned to the estate on the third evening. He was dressed in a black silk V-neck shirt, paired with matching pants, exuding a lazy and elegant demeanor as he walked into the bright foyer. His light brown pupils appeared to be half cold and half wild, incredibly charming.

Seeing their wedding picture conspicuously pasted on the wall in the hall, Oliver's brows furrowed slightly: "Take them down."

Mr. Liam took Oliver's coat and quickly gestured to the two nearby servants, who promptly removed all the picture. The only wedding atmosphere in the villa vanished completely.

"Where is she?" Oliver didn't see his new bride in the living room and asked coldly.

Mr. Liam paused for a moment before answering.

"Master, Lady has returned to her room. It seems she has something to discuss with you."

Is she Looking for him?

Looking for him to cry out against the injustice and humiliation she suffered?

Oliver smirked nonchalantly and went upstairs. "Let her come find me."

Natalie finally had the opportunity to see Oliver after waiting for his return.

She stood anxiously at the entrance of the master bedroom, unsure of how to face her unfamiliar and disdainful husband.

Natalie knocked on the door a few times, but there was no response. After a while, she knocked again, still no answer. She had no choice but to push the door open.

In that instant, she was completely awestruck by what she saw inside.

The master bedroom spanned nearly two hundred square meters. As you entered, there was a small living area, and further inside was the main bedroom with an oversized bed. On either side were walk-in closets.

The entire room exuded an authentic Gothic style, filled with mystery and allure. The intricately designed black furniture and decorations perfectly blended artistry with craftsmanship.

It gives people a great visual impact and touches their hearts, concealing the emotions of its owner beneath a deep, icy coldness.

Stepping into this place, one can't help but bow down in submission.

"...Oliver?"

After searching around without finding anyone, she wondered, but Uncle Liam did say that Oliver was inside the house.

Natalie finally saw a figure behind a huge and magnificent vintage embroidered screen.

She took a deep breath, walked closer, and planned to have a conversation with him through the screen to reduce the awkwardness between the two.

"Oliver, I...I'm Natalie..."

There was no response from the other side, so Natalie quickly finished what she wanted to say.

"I know you don't like me, don't worry, I won't bother you! I want to discuss something with you, can...can I?"

"I'm still a student, and when there are classes at school, I want to go back and attend them. I also want to go back and see my younger brother every week...is that okay?"

Natalie also made it to the finals of a popular model competition called "Top Avenue," which will start next month. But she didn't dare to ask for so much at once.

"Oliver, I know it's impolite to talk through the screen, but, but I heard that you don't want to see anyone. I think a person's appearance is only a part of them. A malicious soul is even scarier than an ugly appearance. You should go out and see the world outside."

Oliver came out from the bathroom and saw a slender figure talking to his screen.

Her seaweed-like black hair reached her waist, and she was wearing a conservative light blue house dress, deliberately guarding against him. Her earlobes were round and delicate under the light, her neck was slender and fair, as smooth as porcelain.

Natalie was very nervous and didn't notice that someone was standing behind her until she heard a low, cold male voice.

"Woman, who do you say is ugly?"

That voice blended into the gothic-themed room and sounded like the most beautiful cello.

"Ah -!"

As Natalie turned around, she saw a man standing less than two meters behind her, naked, no, half-naked.

Natalie herself was 1.76 meters tall, but this man was even taller, at least 1.9 meters.

He appeared to have just finished showering, his damp black hair dripping with water, with beautifully defined chest muscles and an eight-pack of abdominal muscles like blocks of chocolate. The towel around his waist showed his V-shaped figure, broad shoulders and narrow waist, long legs, exuding a sexy male ardor.

Even the gold medal male models couldn't compare to his impressive physique.

His facial features were handsome and sharp, with sensual thin lips, a high and straight nose, eyes resembling peach blossoms or crimson phoenixes, half cool and half wild, as if sculpted by God.

This face was so handsome that it could drive any woman crazy!

"Who, who are you! Why are you here! And why are you dressed like that!"

Natalie covered her eyes and turned around in a fluster, her ears turning red.

It was the first time in her life that she had seen a living man dressed like that!

Oliver's lips curled into a cold and mocking smile. She came to find him, but she asked who he is?

Quite deceptive.

Throughout these years, the number of women who have seduced Oliver is countless.
