IV. He's Gone.

Amanda screamed loudly when the clothes she was wearing were torn by the Prince's big hands.  "Aaahhhh!" The girl immediately covered her upper body, while the handsome figure still dominated her.

"Hey... don't shout like that. People can think I'm the bad guy," whispered the Black Prince with a meaningful smile. After saying that, the Black Prince swayingly lifted Amanda White in his arms. Throwing the girl on the bed, Amanda immediately made as much distance as possible from the big tall man, but the luxurious headboard stopped her.

The Black Prince unbuttoned the shirt he was wearing impatiently, then dropped the black shirt on the side of the bed. There was a broad chest with scars here and there and his whole body seemed to have deep cuts from sharp objects. The man then climbed onto the bed while pulling Amanda's legs so that the girl was dragged and back into his arms. The prince breathed heavily, looking closely at Amanda's face and body.

“How much did that old witch pay you? How long did it take her to prepare this?” asked the Black Prince. "Where's your weapon to kill me?" This time, the Black Prince asked while groping Amanda's body looking for the stored weapon, but there was nothing, in fact, his libido increased even more when she had to rub against the beautiful girl's skin. "What's in here?"  asked the Black Prince again with a smirk on his handsome face, pointing to the bone-white underwear that Amanda was still wearing.

The girl immediately covered her lower body. Tears were still pouring down the two purple bead's eyelids. Again, she was unable to say a word and fear enveloped her a lot. Only a shake of the head was the answer.

Above him, the Black Prince smiled crookedly. So handsome…

If only he had done that outside on a hot day instead of on top of a scared girl to death!

"Are you afraid of me?"  asked the Black Prince again, closing the distance between them.

‘Of course!’  Amanda screamed inwardly.

"You would expect me to die in battle alone, someone who doesn't deserve to live and share oxygen with you now, right?" said the Black Prince as he groaned greedily for the air between the crook of Amanda's neck and himself.

‘What does he mean? He… doesn't deserve to live?’ Amanda asked in her mind. ‘How could that be?’

The words 'not worth living' were what people used to address to her and Amanda knew very well how painful it was to receive those words. So, how could she possibly throw those words at someone else? Even, she thought that the prince was a near-perfect person living in this world, yeah, even though it was only from her momentary judgment since they even just met today.

"N-no, everyone deserves to live and be meaningful to other people, and so do you..." Amanda croaked. Trying to answer while she was also scared to death was not an easy thing, but it's just that she wanted to let him know that he was also precious. He didn't want the Black Prince to have the same pain she was in.

Right after hearing Amanda's answer, the handsome man seemed to freeze. He didn't expect the sudden answer. It was not the answer he was used to hearing.

This answer was totally different…

The answer that somehow touched a small part of his heart, one part of the huge gaping wound in his heart.

He stared at Amanda's large purple eyes that reflected her figure, but not her current form but her fifteen years ago. A small young man who jumped into the arms of a woman who had the same hair color as him. "My greatest treasure is you, Illarion, my precious son..." whispered the woman who now resounded in the Black Prince's memory.

Suddenly, the big man chuckled. ‘Funny, why am I suddenly remembering such trivial things at this time, is it because of this girl's beautiful eyes?’ A question crossed his mind.

The Black Prince's jaw tightened again, violently punching the head of the mattress which was directly above Amanda. The girl was so shocked that she screamed for a moment before finally covering her mouth and eyes with her hands.

The Black Prince then rose to free the girl from his clutches and moved to sit on the edge of the bed. Again, silence fell between them, as the man put on his clothes. "I don't need your sympathy," he said coldly before closing the bedroom door and leaving Amanda alone.

The silver-haired girl was still crying and at the same time, she was confused by the man's sudden attitude. Amanda stared blankly at the closed door. "Am I wrong?"  Amanda asked herself.

Not long after that, there was the sound of horseshoe hooves and the rubble of gravel against the wheels of the carriage. And that night, the Black Prince's entourage immediately left the city of Sulli, without saying a word to the host.

"Why did he leave me? Or should I be grateful that he didn't kill me…”
