28. Promise me
There was a pendant inside the box. Not just a pendant. A beautiful pendant.
"Go on. Take a look." Damien smiled.
I took it out and looked at it closely. It had a couple hanging from the chain. They were in a pose of dancing. It looked romantic. There was more emphasis on the dresses. The woman was wearing an orange overflowing dress. While the man had a green shirt on, or in Damien's language Forest Green.
"It's really beautiful Damien," I whispered in awe. I don't know if the couple signifies something but I love it as it is, just as I love Damien. I smiled to myself giddily. Who knew I would fall in love with Damien Calvo. And yet here I am clutching onto the gift he gave me as my life depended on it.
"I'm glad you liked it." He kissed my cheek.
That's when I noticed that the woman's eyes were illustrated by some green colour small gem. I shifted my gaze towards the man and noticed his eyes weren't illustrated with any color.
