Here's the expanded version: Sunita sat with her mother in her maternal home, taking a much-needed rest. As she relaxed, her mind wandered back to the past, and she slipped into a flashback. She thought about how her life had turned upside down in the five years since her marriage. The memories came flooding back, and she was transported to a time when her life was still filled with hope and promise. After Slokh turned three, Suraj agreed to take her on a vacation to Kashmir, but only on the condition that she wouldn't visit Bangalore frequently, and instead limit her visits to her parents to once a year. Sunita had agreed to this, after discussing it with her mother. She was desperate to recover from the dramas and differences that had cropped up between them since their honeymoon.
