I thought I would survive the vicious attack from the four wolves with killing intent. I didn't recognize any of them, which made me so frightened.

I ran down the main road and entered the forest ahead of me. Every dim of light remained behind and only the dark forest covered in the fog was around me.

I already suffered an ankle fracture when one of them grabbed me by the leg with its large canines embedded in my flesh.

“It's pointless running, little girl,” I heard a man's voice echo in the vast space when I stopped to rest. I could barely stand on my own. I looked around and there was no one. Only smoke from the fog rising in the air.
