LOGINAva’s POV
“You see, I didn't mean to be rude to you,” the reality dawned on her with those words and her face turned really pale.
“You looked so young, that's why, please forgive me. I was just trying to warn you off this slut, after all, everything I do is for the wellbeing of my husband and his family,” she said as she kicked Caleb with her heels. But he was too much of a chicken to speak up for her.
Kyle turned to me, “she's the one from the video right?” He asked and I nodded.
“Despicable indeed,” he said with wrinkled nose and turned to me, “I was going to get revenge on whoever dared to plan against me before, but I feel so much rage right now. Can you let it out for me?” He asked and I widened my eyes in question.
“What do you mean?”
“Slap her, three times, loud and sharp to let out my rage,” he said with an uninterested tone but that look in his eyes made it impossible to deny.
As if aggression had passed, I felt myself boiling with rage as well, as I remembered all the times I had been deceived by her in the past and my palms were suddenly itchy for a collision with her face.
“No, don't come near,” she said as she stepped back and fell on Caleb's lap.
Slap! It was so raw and painful that even my palm stung. “That's for being a bad person.”
Slap! “For being a bad friend.”
Slap! “For deceiving me all this while
Slap! This time, my palm landed on Caleb's face, “and this is for being such a jerk!” I said before turning to Kyle, hoping he didn't see me as a devil just now.
“I'm sorry, I lost count and my palm slipped,” I said to explain the handprint on his nephew's face, but he only shrugged.
“I feel better now, why don't we go have something to eat, I think the cook prepared breakfast,” he said like nothing happened and I followed behind him, not wanting to look at those deceitful pairs a minute longer.
When we got to the kitchen, we both paused and opened our mouths at the same time.
“Do you feel better now?” He asked.
“Thank you, I never thought getting revenge could be so satisfying,” I said as I beamed, unable to contain my smile.
“Revenge? I've barely started with them,” he chuckled and held my wrist, “come in, let's eat,” he was so carefree as we heated the food and he told me that the help in the house comes in when he's out to clean and make his food.
I signed as we set the dinner table.
“What's wrong?” He asked and I hesitated a while before turning to him, biting my cheeks and fidgeting with my fingers.
“I planned to work as your live-in house help for a while to pay for what you've done for me today but now, I feel useless,” I said and he frowned.
“Forget I ever said anything, I was just-”
“You have a degree, don't you?” He suddenly asked.
Startled, I nodded, “yes, a bachelor's degree in food science and technology,” I said and he nodded while stroking his chin.
“Good, it so happens that the doctor asked me to watch my diet and I don't have a dietician to take care of that,” he said and I immediately understood the underlying meaning of that.
My heart heaped with joy. Maybe the whole betrayal thing wasn't so bad afterall.
“But I'm not certified yet,” I wanted to give him the benefit of a doubt.
“You can always learn on the job. Mason will discuss the salary with you later and you can move your things in this evening, I was starting to get tired of living alone,” he sighed but I got the feeling that he was lying, because in the chunk of that article that I had managed to read, it was said that he was a loner.
“I get to move in?”
“Or do you want me to move into that rundown apartment of yours?”
“We had an AC, it's not run down,” I defended and he just smiled, “wait a second, how did you know about my apartment?”
“Let's eat, the food is running cold,” he ignored my question and I glared at him before picking my cutlery.
That evening, I was escorted by Mason who was an amiable person to talk to as well as the driver who remained mute throughout the ride to go pick my stuff.
We paid for all the furniture together. Most of my clothes were bought by either her or Caleb who didn't like my style of dressing, so I didn't have much to pick.
Weirdly enough, they didn’t seem to have returned to the apartment, so I had to get in with my spare key.
“Is that all you need?” Mason asked behind me as I sighted the phone which I thought I'd lost.
I snatched it from the table and nodded at him.
“Yes,” I dragged the box and followed behind him before locking the door and throwing the key underneath the rug.
She can have it all. I smiled as we got into the car, because my salary was enough to pay for the yearly rent at once with change.
I switched on my phone and realized that I was bombarded with messages and notifications from all my social media.
I didn't keep friends, so what was the buzz about?
By the time I opened the messages and read through some of them, I wished I hadn't.
“What in the world?!” I flared as the car was driven into the mansion.
“What's wrong, miss Ava?” Mason asked as he picked up my phone and snorted.
“Look what they are saying. Nothing like that even happened in the first place!” I was so upset as I got out of the car. I felt the strong urge to hit my head on a post because of how enraged I was.
That two faced bitch was escalating things and making me out to be a villain I wasn't.
“Don't worry, miss Ava, please calm down while I inform the president about his. He will definitely find justice for you,” he said as he hurried inside with the phone.
Kyle's POVNew guards hired, check!New hands hired but they are security in disguise, check!Return to work as soon as possible to get delayed paperwork sorted out…“I insist,” Ava said. Not checked.“But you really need to rest. We left the hospital, but the doctor recommended 2 days bedrest.“For the both of us,” she added. She was right, but important documents needed my signature and it was tradition to not bring work home regardless.“That’s why you need to rest at home,” I said, knowing that this wouldn’t convince her any more than it did thirty minutes ago.“Why do I have to stay back while you go to work?” she asked. A different question for the first time in thirty minutes.Sounded like I was finally getting through to her.“That’s because someone needs to do the work,” I said but knew I’d lost the moment a smirk rose at the corners of her lips.“You are the president, founder as well as major stakeholder, so you answer to no one. Your health is very important Kyle, I insist,
Kyle’s POVYears of relentless searching and burning resources finally yielded a fruit.Ava Delaney was a lot more than meets the eye, but even she wasn’t aware of all the potential she carried. That trip to England confirmed everything. My investments would finally start to yield fruit. All I needed to do henceforth was play my cards right.I couldn’t afford any interferences that would cause me any loss, but where did the fire come from? That’s right! “Fire!” I snapped my eyes open and shot up to a sitting position. A headache assaulted me, followed by the blinding lightening of the room.Or rather, hospital, given the beeping sound of the heart monitor and the sickening white painting of the wall.“There was a fire,” I said, recounting from the moment my memory stopped.I came home to an ambulance and the fire department but they hadn’t seen her. I knew then that she was still inside, and I’d be damned to hell before I let her get a scratch on her skin. The door opened from the sid
President Kyle’s POV I watched Mason walk towards the kitchen while Ava leaped and collasped on the couch in the living room and was about to walk towards her and advise that she went to bed early when Mason interrupted.“There really is nothing edible in her, boss, aren’t you going to eat dinner? I’m starving,” he mentioned as he reappeared in the living room while rubbing his stomach.“I’m not hungry, you can go back to work now,” I said but he didn’t get the hint and continued to grumble, “I’m sure Ava is. You don’t plan on ordering out, do you? I’m already tired of eating restaurant prepared food. Can’t you make us some home made meal?” he asked as he reached her side and I noticed her groan as she turned to face him.It must have hurt a lot. I felt guilty as I watched her.“What rubbish are you saying? Ava, go to bed, its late,” I said as I watched the smile drown from his face.“Pity this married man,” he whined. I have only eaten breakfast which was some styore bought crossian
Ava’s POVHe tied my wrists behind the chair and now I have no way to move, except wiggling my butt which was quite embarrassing, not to mention the fact that I could see the outside buildings, the roads as people on the side walk.“You are sure no one can see this right? Even if they have a telescope?” “No, no one, sweetie” he replied with a grunt as I heard the sound of his belt hit the ground.“Youdon’t have to do this if you don’t want to,” he said as he came behind me and I felt his palm on mine.“I’m just a little embarassed, thats all, please do me,” I replied, hoping I sounded as desperate as I was feeling, because his hand on my bare ass just clouded all of my judgement and made me forget about everything but that one thing.“What do you mean?” i could imagine the smirk on his face as he asked. With my hitched breathing and my extremely sensitive nipples grazing the cold leather of the chair, I didn’t see the sense in holding back.“Please put your big thing inside me. Fuck m
President Kyle’s POV.She was acting so innocently that I was finding it hard to continue, for two reasons. One I was scared that she would see this as me taking advantage of her, and Two, which was the bigger reason, I feared that I won’t be able to stop once I start, but her moans combined with the way she kept looking at me made that difficult.Haven had a taste of her, I knew i won’t stop until I’ve drank her.“I will now slide your panties to the side,” I announced as I felt the cleanly shaved flesh of her pussy lips, soft and wet that my index and middle fingers easily slid in, grazing her clit as they curiously felt the exterior of her flower petals.“Hmm,” she moaned again, “ it feels weird.” she said as she gripped my wrist suddenly.“Do you want me to stop?” I asked as I looked up to her shaking her head furiously with her eyes tightly closed.“No, don’t stop,” she said and I smirked. Consent. “Spread your legs for me,” I said and she did so, but immediatly closed them agai
Ava’s POV. I never imagined my first day at work to be so hectic, even though all I had was the title of a secretary.I sighed as I started to pack my things together, but paused a minute to lean my ear on the door. Ever since the lady who called herself his fiance left, I’ve been having conflicted feelings. I slept with her fiance, wore his clothes, moved in and even got a job as his secretary.Maybe I should resign.“What has you sighing so heavily on your first day at work?” “Ahh!” I gasped and jumped to my feet as I was suddenly jolted out of my thoughts, bumping my nose against his jaw in the process, “ouch” I moaned as I felt him grab my wrist and drag me into his office, shutting the door after.“That’s quite some tactics you’ve got there, trying to seduce me on your first day at work,” he said and I raised my head in a frown, my face etched with confusion.“What do you mean? I would never do something like that, not when I know that you have a fiance,” I said and tried to
