Kyle's POV

New guards hired, check!

New hands hired but they are security in disguise, check!

Return to work as soon as possible to get delayed paperwork sorted out…

“I insist,” Ava said.

Not checked.

“But you really need to rest. We left the hospital, but the doctor recommended 2 days bedrest.

“For the both of us,” she added. She was right, but important documents needed my signature and it was tradition to not bring work home regardless.

“That’s why you need to rest at home,” I said, knowing that this wouldn’t convince her any more than it did thirty minutes ago.

“Why do I have to stay back while you go to work?” she asked. A different question for the first time in thirty minutes.

Sounded like I was finally getting through to her.

“That’s because someone needs to do the work,” I said but knew I’d lost the moment a smirk rose at the corners of her lips.

“You are the president, founder as well as major stakeholder, so you answer to no one. Your health is very important Kyle, I insist, unless you are looking down on me?” Her hands dropped to her side and her concentration was focused on her gaze that she directed at me.

“Fine,” my briefcase dropped to the ground just in time for my phone to ring. Look down on her? Didn’t she realise she was worth more than all my assets combined?

“Yes Mason?” I pressed the phone against my ear without taking my eyes off Ava’s.

They softened briefly when I dropped the suitcase and I was worried she would get a headache if she frowned any longer.

“Boss, the Chinese investors mentioned the meeting today as well as the…”

“Reschedule every meeting I would be having today and tomorrow.”

“What? But you postponed them for the flight to England and it could get really shaky if…”

“If I had to worry about every little thing then you wouldn’t be needed, Mason,” I said and hung up the call with that.

“Phew,” I let out a stream of air as something collided into me.

Rather, someone who gave the best hugs wrapped her hands around my waist, her head resting on my chest right where she could hear my heartbeat.

“Please don’t exhaust yourself, you’re human too,” she said words that would have healed my inner child and saved me multiple breakdowns from years back.

But right now, I smiled and patted her hair, loving the way she melted against my touch. “Why don’t you go rest for now,” I asked.

“But you might leave and continue working,” she raised her head to look into my eyes.

How could I not do her bidding when she looked at me like a siren.

“You could come to my room if you’re so worried,” I said.

“Okay, you lead the way then,” she nodded and straightened up to sit by my side. I froze, one second, two, until she asked, “Did I say something wrong?” which startled me back to the present.

I hadn’t expected her to be so bold with her words.

“Nothing, let’s go,” I scooped her up in my hand, earning a yelp from her.

“I won’t drop you,” I said to reassure her.

“I know,” she said as she wrapped her hands around my neck and buried her head in my chest. “You caught me by surprise is all.”

“Well, that makes two of us,” I said as I pushed into the master’s bedroom and laid her on the bed.

“Where are you going?” she asked when I turned around, propping herself with her elbow on the pillow to sit up.

“Just to get us some water, so you wouldn’t have to go down the stairs in the middle of the night.”

“It’s still daytime, there’s nothing to worry about,” she said.

“Okay,” I nodded and climbed into bed with her.

I was never one to fall asleep easily, talk less of with someone by my side. So I could just get up when she did to save her the trouble later.

Having left the hospital earlier than the doctor’s approval, we were both implored to get our two days bedrest at home.

So with the meds taken after breakfast, we… my jaws pulled apart involuntarily to let out air I didn’t realise I was holding.

“Closer,” Ava demanded in a droopy voice as she placed her head on my chest, so I turned around to hold her as she demanded.

“Much better, I like the steady rate of your heartbeat,” she said as she dropped her eyes closed and drew in a long breath in and out.

I closed my eyes temporarily and when I opened them, the curtains weren’t drawn anymore, but the light from the outside wasn’t blinding, rather, it was the soft silver light of moonlight, and Ava wasn’t by my side.

I felt for her spot in the bed, it was cold, so she must have gotten up a lot earlier. That is if I wasn’t dreaming.

However, my dreams were just as rare as seeing comets in daytime. I climbed out of bed in search of her and the moment I opened the door, I knew where to find her.

Sniffing the delicious air that wafted into my nose, I took my steps following the scent until I reached the kitchen door, watching her as she washed her hand and took off the apron to hang.

“I was just about to wake you for dinner,” she said, confirming my doubts.

I had to be asleep, because there was no way in the world that I slept for 12 hours straight even if I took the pills.

It just didn’t make sense, yet the evidence was right in front of me.

Delicious food as I sat for dinner. Hot against my tongue and landing perfectly in my stomach. I had only managed to lucid dream once in high school, so this was not a dream in any way.

“Thank you,” the words left my mouth before I could translate them into something more understandable.

“Enjoy your meal so we can use our medication,” she smiled at me from across the table as she scooped a spoon of her own porridge.

Kyle’s POVYears of relentless searching and burning resources finally yielded a fruit.Ava Delaney was a lot more than meets the eye, but even she wasn’t aware of all the potential she carried. That trip to England confirmed everything. My investments would finally start to yield fruit. All I needed to do henceforth was play my cards right.I couldn’t afford any interferences that would cause me any loss, but where did the fire come from? That’s right! “Fire!” I snapped my eyes open and shot up to a sitting position. A headache assaulted me, followed by the blinding lightening of the room.Or rather, hospital, given the beeping sound of the heart monitor and the sickening white painting of the wall.“There was a fire,” I said, recounting from the moment my memory stopped.I came home to an ambulance and the fire department but they hadn’t seen her. I knew then that she was still inside, and I’d be damned to hell before I let her get a scratch on her skin. The door opened from the sid

  • Bullied By My ex' billionare uncle   8 - cook dinner

President Kyle’s POV I watched Mason walk towards the kitchen while Ava leaped and collasped on the couch in the living room and was about to walk towards her and advise that she went to bed early when Mason interrupted.“There really is nothing edible in her, boss, aren’t you going to eat dinner? I’m starving,” he mentioned as he reappeared in the living room while rubbing his stomach.“I’m not hungry, you can go back to work now,” I said but he didn’t get the hint and continued to grumble, “I’m sure Ava is. You don’t plan on ordering out, do you? I’m already tired of eating restaurant prepared food. Can’t you make us some home made meal?” he asked as he reached her side and I noticed her groan as she turned to face him.It must have hurt a lot. I felt guilty as I watched her.“What rubbish are you saying? Ava, go to bed, its late,” I said as I watched the smile drown from his face.“Pity this married man,” he whined. I have only eaten breakfast which was some styore bought crossian

Ava’s POVHe tied my wrists behind the chair and now I have no way to move, except wiggling my butt which was quite embarrassing, not to mention the fact that I could see the outside buildings, the roads as people on the side walk.“You are sure no one can see this right? Even if they have a telescope?” “No, no one, sweetie” he replied with a grunt as I heard the sound of his belt hit the ground.“Youdon’t have to do this if you don’t want to,” he said as he came behind me and I felt his palm on mine.“I’m just a little embarassed, thats all, please do me,” I replied, hoping I sounded as desperate as I was feeling, because his hand on my bare ass just clouded all of my judgement and made me forget about everything but that one thing.“What do you mean?” i could imagine the smirk on his face as he asked. With my hitched breathing and my extremely sensitive nipples grazing the cold leather of the chair, I didn’t see the sense in holding back.“Please put your big thing inside me. Fuck m

  • Bullied By My ex' billionare uncle   Chaoter 6 - Oh Sweetheart

President Kyle’s POV.She was acting so innocently that I was finding it hard to continue, for two reasons. One I was scared that she would see this as me taking advantage of her, and Two, which was the bigger reason, I feared that I won’t be able to stop once I start, but her moans combined with the way she kept looking at me made that difficult.Haven had a taste of her, I knew i won’t stop until I’ve drank her.“I will now slide your panties to the side,” I announced as I felt the cleanly shaved flesh of her pussy lips, soft and wet that my index and middle fingers easily slid in, grazing her clit as they curiously felt the exterior of her flower petals.“Hmm,” she moaned again, “ it feels weird.” she said as she gripped my wrist suddenly.“Do you want me to stop?” I asked as I looked up to her shaking her head furiously with her eyes tightly closed.“No, don’t stop,” she said and I smirked. Consent. “Spread your legs for me,” I said and she did so, but immediatly closed them agai

  • Bullied By My ex' billionare uncle   5 - you taste like strawberry

Ava’s POV. I never imagined my first day at work to be so hectic, even though all I had was the title of a secretary.I sighed as I started to pack my things together, but paused a minute to lean my ear on the door. Ever since the lady who called herself his fiance left, I’ve been having conflicted feelings. I slept with her fiance, wore his clothes, moved in and even got a job as his secretary.Maybe I should resign.“What has you sighing so heavily on your first day at work?” “Ahh!” I gasped and jumped to my feet as I was suddenly jolted out of my thoughts, bumping my nose against his jaw in the process, “ouch” I moaned as I felt him grab my wrist and drag me into his office, shutting the door after.“That’s quite some tactics you’ve got there, trying to seduce me on your first day at work,” he said and I raised my head in a frown, my face etched with confusion.“What do you mean? I would never do something like that, not when I know that you have a fiance,” I said and tried to
