Amber’s POV

“No other girl should have to go through that. Stop crying, honey. We have things under control,” Mom assured as she held me in her warm arms.

Her voice was smooth, but her wolf’s presence, strong and comfortable, wrapped protectively around mine, as if trying to shield me from everything outside this moment. I let the weight on my shoulders disappear into her hold. For the first time in days, I felt safe. Truly safe. Like nothing else mattered but this quiet comfort.

“I will go to the police station tomorrow,” Dad announced, his voice gruff but filled with control.

“Alright, Dad. I will make sure to go to work late and follow Lovely to school tomorrow,” Daniel added with a growl, tugging at his words.

I got up swiftly, still shaky, and Mom helped me walk to my room, with Bella following us. My muscles were sore, especially my face.

Raven whimpered softly in my head, not from pain but from exhaustion. "Thank goodness all that's behind us now, girl, becaus

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 37 FURIOUS BROTHER

Amber’s POV "She is so beautiful. I think I have seen her somewhere before, but I don't remember where…" Bella remarked, stroking her chin as her eyes followed Elsa."That's because she is a famous model and actress," I replied. “But to be honest, I haven’t seen her on TV, not even…” My voice trailed off as the door of the car swung open. Then he strode out of the car, and just as I thought, it was—it was Alpha Mason.Even in his human form, the power in his presence moved across the school grounds like a shockwave. His aura pressed against mine, causing Raven to grunt in anger. But what shook me more wasn’t his supremacy or the way his gaze locked on mine. It was Daniel.“Girl, I don’t know how we are going to do it, but we need to stop Daniel from hurting our mate.” She whined in my head.“Listen to me, bro. You don’t have to do this, you…” Daniel interrupted my speech. "That's him. You don’t have to tell me otherwise, I already have bad blood with him. We have some scores to se

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 36 A SECRET

Amber’s POV “No, don’t cry. I am very sorry,” Bella whispered, pulling me into a sisterly hug.My spirit lifted as she hugged me; her scent, a combination of lavender and rose, helped calm Raven, who had suddenly become livid and tired of all the questions from my best friend. “It’s okay. I know you were just curious, but… there are some things I can’t talk about,” I mumbled, my voice sounding cold to my ears. Some things are too profound for words to express. “I know, girl. I’m sorry. Take your time, if you are ready to talk about it, you can come to me,” she assured, brushing her fingers lightly through my curls like a comforting sister. I hesitated, then bit my lower lip. “C-Can I tell you a secret?” She pulled back just enough to look me in the eye. “Sure, you know you can tell me anything.” “I… I have a boyfriend.” I blurted out before I could stop myself. “Seriously? Who is he? How is he? Don’t tell me he is the one who raped you,” Bella whined. “You ask too many ques

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 34 THE COMMERCIAL

Author’s POV Amber stood in front of the kitchen sink, her hands covered with soap lather, heart pitter-pattering against her ribcage. She could hear the television in the living room, where Daniel and Bella were flipping through the channels, their voices muffled. “I have never seen you watch a movie before,” Bella teased. “Come to think of it, we have never gone on a movie date.” “That’s because smart people don’t waste time on TV,” Daniel replied and continued. “You know I am always busy at the hospital, so I barely have time for dates, but I promise to make it up to you in the future.”Their eyes locked as their breathing came in unison. Her lips found their way instinctively to his, and before their lips could touch, the TV screen shifted.A familiar voice exploded from the TV. “Come to the King’s hotel, where everyone is welcome, and wolves from different packs are treated with no discrimination at all.” Amber’s face appeared on the screen, gorgeous and confident, dressed

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 33 LIES

Amber's POV My mother’s familiar scent enveloped my senses as I buried my face in her chest and drove deeper into her. She held me to her while tears leaked out of my eyes. “I…I’m sorry, Mom,” I choked out, the words intertwined with my sobs. She held me tighter. Her heart was beating so fast that it was the only thing I could hear, but her voice stayed calm. “I’m angry at you, honey. But seeing you like this, I will let it go. No more going out without telling me, do you hear me?” I pulled away slowly and nodded. My eyes were swollen and sore. Raven whimpered quietly inside me. “Thank goodness, Mom is no longer angry at us.” She commented. “Why did you go out so late at night?” My mom questioned.I jumped out of bed, turning my back to her, pretending to head for the bathroom. I didn’t want her to see my face, she always knew when I was lying. “Um, there is this restaurant that owed me some money,” I mumbled. “I went there to collect it, but I got lost on my way back.” “What k

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 32 THE ENCOUNTER

Author’s POV“I think I left…” Alpha Mason’s speech was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. He tapped the screen and lifted it to his ear. “Hello, Dad.” “Hey, son. Have you finished the shoot? The ad and the pictures?” Alpha Gunnar’s deep voice inquired from the other end. “Yes, Dad. It’s all done,” Mason answered, looking briefly at the rearview mirror. “Good. Send them to me immediately. The marketing team is on my neck, they want to see them so they can distribute them as soon as possible, and the launch is tomorrow.”“I will tell the photographer to send them to you now,” Mason stated, ending the call with a shaky sigh. He dropped the phone and looked to his right. Amber was fast asleep, her head relaxing softly against the window. A peaceful expression softened her beautiful face, something Mason hadn’t seen in days. For a moment, the hatred in him calmed, and he was reduced to a love-sick teenager, admiring his mate, who looked nothing like the enemy in his pack. He wa
