“Be honest with me, Brandon. Did Calvin set this job up for me?” I asked calmly as I sat at the back of the seat while Brandon drove.

“No ma,” one of the employees replied before Brandon could say a word. “It's sincerely our first job. One of the business men really came and gave us this job offer to be very honest. I was the one they met with.”

“Alright,” I nodded and relaxed into the chair. It was a small luxurious party that they wanted us to cover and I was going with just two extra workers and needed to know if Calvin got the job for me.

I'd have cancelled. He's insane. For thinking he's on top of the world. It's been two days since the day of the dinner party and the least we exchanged were greetings which will remain at that.
