Cora's POV

I woke up with a start. The moment my eyes got a hold of the surroundings, they widened. What? What was… happening?

I made to move and only then did I realize my situation. I was tied up. My eyes almost bulged out as I stared down at the rope.

My arms were tied to the sides of the seat I was on. What happened? And then the last event replayed in my head and at once panic rose in my chest.

Did he… kidnap me? But he didn't run after me. I was almost in the car. Did that wild looking guy kidnap me?

I glanced around the room I was in and then I shook my head. Brandon warned me about the powerful ones. And the guy's aura. He looked like the ones with extra power.

He couldn't have brought me to such a place. With boxes and the smell of dust, I had a feeling it couldn't be him.

Then who? At that, my mind reeled to Jayden. If Calvin goes down, you'll go down with him. His exact words. Did he kidnap me? For what?
