CHAPTER EIGHT

                        LUNA'S POV

At the hospital, the doctor is all about me being careful and eating healthy and listing precautions I can hardly keep in my mind. The ultrasound is done and to tell you what, I cry when i see my little potato on the screen. The doctor tells me in a few months they  will be able to know its gender and I'm all excited right now. I don't have a preference when it comes to children though. All I want is a healthy normal baby with no complications.

I cannot get enough of my baby's image so I hold the printed copy of the ultrasound and admire it absentmindedly as I walk along the long hospital corridor. Suddenly I feel my body hit against a hard surface and the photo falls off my hands. I look up to see what I just bumped into and I realize that it is actually a human being's chest and not a hard surface.
