“He knows about Ace.” I sighed and rubbed my temples to ease the headache but it didn’t help. In fact, it’s worsening.

“What? What do you mean he know?” Jonathan spilled the drink he was sipping and stared at me with shock and confusion written all over his face.

“I don’t know how but he met Ace and now he is breathing on my neck. He seems prepared to sue me in the court. I can’t lose my son, Jon. Not to him and his mistress.” I looked at him with teary eyes. He is the only person who had seen me in my rainy days.

He put down his glass and held my shoulders, “He won’t be able to come near Ace. I will make sure of it, Lottie. You have to stay calm and use your brain. You were married to him for three years and no one knows him better than you. Press your memories, I am sure, you’ll find his weakness.
