Chapter 2: Dear future hubby

"I am sorry Father, I have to leave, I have an important meeting to attend."

"What?"

"Yes, I would like to be excused." He didn't wait for President Harold to say a word, he walked elegantly out of the building, he had this naughty arrogant aura around him, he was handsome, and his brown tuxedo could tell he had rich taste when it came to fashion. 

Getting out of the building, Jayden was there, and he walked closer to him.

"I would have had your head on a plate if you didn't call at the right time." 

"Sorry!" Jayden said he is his childhood friend and also his assistant. 

"No need to apologize, it's a good thing, you called, those men were choking me with their stupid matchmaking."

"You don't hate love; do you?''

"I have no problem with love or women, I just hate the fact that every girl that is matchmake, is always loyal."

Jayden laughed at his friend, That stupid thought, apart from the fact that he doesn't like the matchmaking stuff, he hates women who act too loyal in a relationship just because they want to get married, he needed a woman who could stand up to him not stay on his feet and do everything he orders. Jayden could remember one of the girls, his dad tried to matchmake him with, then titter. 

"Silly, are you still thinking of that girl?" 

"Of course, how could someone say he like everything I like, what if I like sucking blood?" 

The car is filled with the laughter of Jayden and Dante, although he is a cold man to the outside world and his friends, he is easygoing. 

"Where are we going?'

"Naughty you, you keep driving without knowing where we are going?" He frowned as Jayden called him naughty, sensing his frown, Jayden raised his hand. 

"I give up! I heard the Calvin's resort is beautiful, maybe, you could try their beach house resorts, since you need a little relaxation."

"Sure! Just mark the map, and then I follow."

"As your lordship pleases!" There goes another round of laughter.

 Barbara had cried out her eyes through the night, and then the next morning, she didn't ask for anything and it was evening already, Ethan is getting worried, Sir Calvin will kill him if he found out that his princess had been sucking for almost two days without anything to eat, he hit on the door. 

"Who is there?" 

"Ma Barbara, you should come out, I beg you, you haven't..."

"Just go on and rest, I told you, I will be fine, don't stand at my door." 

"Come on, it will not take long before you fall sick, if you continue like this Master Calvin will...'

"Fine, just go on, I will be out in thirty minutes, I will be fine."

"Promise!"

"I promise!" Ethan took a few steps from the door, she could hear the sound, she stood up from the bed, she looked at herself, she was looking dejected. 

Oh Barbara, what is wrong with you? How could you be crying over that loser, he is not worthy of your tears, you are a strong woman, you could fix it, forget him, and move on with your life. 

She grabbed a note and a pen, not knowing what she was going to write but she just wanted to write, probably to insult Derrick and her sister. 

"Dear future hubby, these are the things, I want from you, I just want you to be handsome, tall, intelligent, and caring; a CEO; even though you don't have a company, you could CEO my heart you don't have to be a cheat because I hate cheat and my heart has been broken a lot of times, I might die from another heartbreak. I don't want you to be like him, an asshole that could pick just any girl, you should fall in love with just me and not my sister, I am a very humble girl, sorry I lie, far from that, I am stubborn, you shouldn't be arrogant because I could punch your face, I could be naughty but lovely, I like to argue, dragged home my point and calm at same times but I am not that bad to love. Let my present give you breath. 

Hope you get my letter, signed by your lovely wife." 

Crazy as it is, her main aim in writing this letter is to send it to Derrick and lay a curse on him but now she is writing something about the kind of man she wants in her life then she pulls the paper into a bottle. 

She had to unpack since Ethan would not let her be, her eyes were swelling from all the tears she shared, she took her bath, then brushed, slipping into a simple wear, a free long gown. 

Ethan is about to hit the door when the door is pulled open.

"I promise I was going to come out, you don't have to hit the door again."

"Sorry ma!"

'Barbara! That is my name." Ethan bowed, as she swapped the card holding the bottle with one hand, as much as he wanted to ask what was inside the bottle, he knew that it was intruding on her privacy. 

"Where..."

"I am fine, I could find my way." She said as she walked away. 

Dante is walking on his laptop, and Jayden closes it. 

"Hey, what is it?"

"I thought you said you wanted to rest, come on, let's explore the place."

"Jayden, I have..."

"I know CEO Dante, all work and no play make Dante a dull CEO."

"You something else, let me go see the lovely place, as you picture it, I know you wouldn't let me rest." He wears short jeans and a t-shirt, and he ranges his black hair back as they walk out of the presidential suite, Jayden is a handsome man but Dante is more handsome, every woman could fall in love with him, at her first glance. 

As Barbara walked to the beachside, she could remember everything that happened the previous day, and soon a hot stream of tears started Falling from her eyes. 

No Barbara, not again, don't waste your tears on a loser. She is enchanted in her head, she just wants the tears to stop flowing but the more she tries, the harder it becomes for her. 

You could do this, get a grip on yourself. She is the best consoler of anyone but can't she console herself, it is frustrating to always be the strong girl and always have people to cry on your shoulder. 

She moves her hand and wipes her face, she sits close to the water, she watches as the wave takes the water from afar closer to her and then again takes it back, she throws the bottle into the water. 

"I just hope my wish gets granted." Then stand to leave. 

"You will be fine, yes, you will be fine." She wiped her face, only to get hit by Dante who was busy looking at the beach without concentration. 

"Hey watch it, you are not blind, are you?" Dante said. 

'Did you just say, I am blind?' She fired back at him, not waiting for a reply she picked up again. "You the blind one here, you hit me, the one thing you could have done was to apologize for your sorry ass." 

"Such an insolent girl."

"You are the insolent boy, I wonder the kind of girl that will fall for such an ill-mannered man."

"You wouldn't know because you can't be that girl, I am too good for you." 

"Of course, I am not because she must be more miserable than me.' 

"You are miserable, I pray your boyfriend cheated on you with your sister." Jayden spit out the water from his mouth in shock, how could Dante say that, although Barbara was having the conversation with him while walking away from him, not even looking at his face, so he didn't notice she was crying, hearing that part, she stands. 

"Did I hit you where the sun doesn't meet? I must have struck a chord."  Dante fired back at her, seeing her stand in motion, he tapped his shoulder that he had done well. 

"Of course, you did more than that." Her voice was behind him, he wanted to turn, to have the last laugh but there was a punch thrown right on the side of his lips, she ran as she found out that she had hit him. 

"Hey you wretch'

"Fuck off jerk!" She said as she ran into the crowd.
