Bianca's POV

I pulled away from Gabriel after the short kiss. My eyes went straight to Damon and he looked very mad. His eyes were showing straight fire and threatening me. I can literally hear his look saying ‘How dare you do that? I'll kill you!’

I looked at everyone else at the table. They look like they have not seen a couple kissing before. I turned my eyes to Gabriel who is flustered and his face is red. Oh no, what do I do? Things are going to be awkward from here on.

"Why do you all look like you haven't seen a couple kissing before?" I asked them, gathering all the courage left inside me.

"Well... I mean, you guys are a real couple then. No friends kiss like that... I guess."

I tried so hard to not look at Damon. The moment I decided to look at his table, he wasn't there. Why is my heart racing so much when he isn't even around? Why am I so scared of the way he would react?

Who would want to be with someone like that. He’s nice sometimes, but is mostly down right domineering, intimidating, and abusive. I honestly don’t understand how she don’t understand how she still has love for him. I guess we will get more backstory and he will get better as the book goes on.
