The beach house was about an hour’s ride from his city condo, but I could say that it was much quieter and peaceful place where Emma was feeling better. She was smiling more, she probably wasn’t used to live in close confinement. My neighborhood where she was born and grew up, it was also friendly and people loved her there.

“For you. I don’t know how you like it.” Stephen walked in my direction with two mugs of coffee in his hands.
