Her eyes shot open and she was met with dark brown coffee eyes. The guy smiled and his dimples showed, his eyes sparkled in the dark and she wondered what he was excited about.

He let go of her face, "For a moment there I almost bought your little act but your breath hitched when I reached the bottom of the stairs."

Scar shuddered at the sound of his voice, it seemed so sinister that it scared her a lot t, she didn't know what he wanted but it couldn't be anything good.

"Why aren't saying anything love, I don't bite." He softly said.

The glint in his eyes told her that if she didn't reply he might hurt her.

"I, I was just wondering." She managed to let out, her throat was dry causing her voice to crack.

He got up and walked somewhere behind her, then returned with a bottle of water, he brought it closer to her lips, "Here." But Scar was reluctant to drink from it, what if it was poisoned or something like that?
