ALEX'S POV:

I got downstairs and saw Old Mrs. Lockwood and Killian engaged in a deep conversation.

I sat down beside Killian and smiled at Old Mrs. Lockwood.

"Mother, you called for me? Why didn't you go home and rest, he is okay as you can see." I told her, she grinned and nods her head.

"I didn't come here for him, I'm here to check up on you." She saw and looked at Killian. "I know that he can be a jerk sometimes but please don't take it to heart, just like you did today, please always be there for him." She said and my heart crumbled.

If only she knew that it is only two weeks that I have to stay in this house.
