31 Daydream

Elaina's confusion was rising more and more. To her surprise, her parents, Ishan and Aaron, had dinner together. Everyone enjoyed the dinner silently. Still, Elaina felt something was fishy behind the scenes.

When they were ready to leave, Janki requested, "Can Elaina stay here tonight or a few days?"

"Janki," Mr Malhotra raised his voice. Soon, it became expected, and he replied, "They have a lot of work of marriage. She would come again to spend time with you."

Elaina and her family came to the car. When a guard opened the car door for him, he whirled and called Elaina, "Mrs Black."

As he spread on the bed, the emptiness of the bed caught his attention. In a few months, he had seen a habit of her presence, Elaina’s presence. He missed her smell. “No, you can't be here now,” She again tried to close her eyes and she tried to sleep. She couldn't sleep, so she checked again, opening one eye. He was not there.

“Look, I told you, Elaina,” She cursed herself in a meek voice. Now, stop thinking about that arrogant brat and concentrate on your beauty sleep; otherwise, you will get big dark circles tomorrow.”

She had just said those words, and she again heard his voice, “How can you sleep without me, Mrs Black?”

She whirled to see Aaron standing near the nightstand. She hopped at her place, “Are… Are you a ghost?” He just smirked as usual he does.

She rubbed her eyes and whirled not to see him again. She cursed, “Do more love to Aaron Black. Now, see. His memories are scarier than him.”

“Elaina…” She heard her name from Aaron. Aaron never calls her by her name. Now, her mind was blank, so she didn't focus on his calling. She turned angrily and roared like a lioness, “You… Mr Aaron Black, Stop showing your face; otherwise, I will…”

“What will you do, Mrs Black?” Aaron sat on the edge of the bed.

She slipped back and moved to the other edge of the bed. She shouted, “You are not real. This must be my dream.” She pinched her skin and felt it was hurting.

“I think I have lost my mind, I'm seeing you everywhere. How is it possible that you are here?” She laughed at herself.

“Now, let me sleep, Mr Black,” She sighed and ignored Aaron. She lay on the bed and whispered, looking at Aaron, “If you are truly here, I would love it. To be loved by you is the most precious moment of my life. I LOVE YOU, Aaron. When will you love me back, the way I love you?”

She smiled and covered herself with a duvet. A sleepy smile again covered her face under the duvet. She felt a warm hand over her belly. She felt like she was fantasies his presence around her. Soon, she felt Aaron’s touch all over her curves. She slept within a few seconds with the illusions of Aaron’s touch and presence.

She chuckled in a sleep, “Aaron, what have you done to me?”

She slept for a long next day. No one came to wake her up. She opened her eyes and first, her gaze landed on The empty bed. She sighed, “It was a terrible Dream. Seeing a demon-like husband in the dream. Nothing is worse than this nightmare.”

She shook her thoughts jumped out of bed and fastly moved to the bathroom. Her day started late and she had a lot of tasks to do.

After brunch, she went for shopping with Pihoo and Amelia. Amelia was the first time visiting India without any siblings or parents. Elaina made her day by allowing her to do a lot of funny things in the malls and on the roads.

When the driver dropped Elaina at Malhotra Mansion, Amelia asked with a pout, “When will you come back? We have a lot to do.”

When she made her way to her bedroom, she remembered the past night. She smiled biting her lower lip. It was already late, so she went to take a bath before getting into bed.
