One Week later...
Rashmi was sitting on the couch and changing the channels on TV. Meanwhile, Myra entered there with Elaina. She smiled and said, "Mom, stop playing with the remote like kids."
"Now, there is no kid at home, so I have to be a kid," Rashmi sighed and turned off the TV. Elaina softly chuckled and followed Myra.
"I'm going out with Elaina, she needs some stuff to settle down here. We will be back in a few hours," Myra acknowledges her mother. Rashmi raised her right eyebrow while sneering at Myra. Myra shook her head and said, "Maa, stop staring at me. I'm going out that's not a big deal."
"No, I'm thinking that you were supposed to talk with Elaina about Aaron," Rashmi got up and rested her hands on her hips. Her old eyes were worried about Elaina.
"We will talk on the way," Myra sighed and waved at her mother. Elaina chuckled softly at the sweet arguments of mother and daughter. She waved at Rashmi and said in her sweet voice, "Bye, Grandma."
"Bye, Huh," Rashmi twitched her lips and sat again on the couch, picking up the remote again. Her old eyes filled with tears. She placed the remote on the desk and muttered, "God knows, what will happen to this girl?""
"By the law, she forcefully married my Grandson, so she is the criminal and my daughter is supporting her to win the heart of her husband. Isn't it unfair to my Aaron?" She shook her head and said, "Leave it. He got married is important. I'm pretty sure this girl can control Aaron, that's why Myra is supporting her."
Rashmi was continuously arguing with herself in the matter of Elaina and Aaron. From inside, she was happy that Aaron got married, but the way he got married was very unfair according to her.
Myra and Elaina sat in the car. Myra ordered the driver to drive toward the biggest mall in the city. Elaina was yawning badly. She came to New York for the first time and with the huge difference between day and night, it is going tough for Elaina.
"Still feeling sleepy?" Myra laughed. Elaina smiled sheepishly.
"Do you wanna ask something?" Myra asked as she saw Elaina peeking at her with a quizzy look.
"Well, I'm so confused about you. Aren't you angry with me?" Elaina asked, changing her question.
"I think I have already told you about this," Myra smirked and smiled, staring at Elaina. Elaina tried to steel her gaze but Myra's gaze was captivating, she couldn't move either.
"Elaina, I'm old now. I knew your feelings. Your eyes speak a lot about your heart," Myra sighed, caressing her cheeks. Elaina lowered her gaze and swallowed hard. She was not getting words to speak up.
"Aaron didn't come home for a week," Myra replied to her unasked question. Elaina was thinking that he didn't come before her. Or maybe, she missed checking up on him while sleeping. She was trying her best to adjust to this new city and country.
"Elaina, everything is not easy when your husband is Aaron," Myra became serious. If you want to win his heart, you have to stay around him. You should know him. You should learn about him personally, do not learn what G****e says," Myra explained to her. Elaina nodded.
"I want you to join his office. Austin will help you with this," Myra smiled. But this time, the smile was terrific. Elaina got not a good vibe. She felt like Myra was sending her to cut her head. Meanwhile, they reached the mall.
Myra talked a lot about Aaron during their shopping time. Elaina didn't want to buy so many things, but Myra was super-excited to buy for Elaina. Elaina was feeling dizzy now. They had dinner in the restaurant and lastly, they stopped at the mobile shop.
"What are you up to Mom?" Elaina rolled her eyes.
"A new phone for you," Myra got into the shop, but Elaina didn't. Myra looked back to see Elaina, who was standing at the entrance, resting her shoulder on the glass door.
"Ohk, Aiden will bring it," Myra came back and they returned to the car. Elaina rested her head on the car seat and closed her eyes. She was thinking about Aaron, what Myra told her.
The mall was owned by the Black group, so the sales boy assured them that they will deliver their shopping bags at home. Myra caressed her hair and said, "I'm sorry. I was so excited to buy things for you."
They reached home and Elaina slept again. Before dinner, Amelia came to wake up Elaina. She said, "Sis-in-law, wake up. You should enjoy our company at least. We know your husband is unromantic and arrogant, but we are not."
Elaina couldn't stop her smile, hearing cute complaints from Amelia. She had already woken up a few minutes ago, but she wasn't ready to go downstairs. She faintly got up and said, "Did he come?"
"Nope," Amelia shrugged off.
"Mom is waiting for us, come fast," Amelia waved and went downstairs. Elaina took a quick shower and got ready. She put on a simple dress and went downstairs without any makeup.
"Hey, Good morning," Elliot greeted her. But soon he got a slap on his head from Myra. She scolded her, 'Shut up."
"How are you, Elaina?" Austin asked while smiling at Elaina. After all, Elaina joined them at the dining table after one week.
"Hey, beautiful, this is for you," Aiden came from nowhere and placed a gift bag before her.
"Drama king," Myra whispered and thought something evil, "What if your brother saw that?"
Amelia and Elliot laughed hard. Amelia said, "You are flirting with your brother's wife."
"Hey, I'm not flirting," Aiden raised his hand. Elliot laughed and mocked, "Do you want me to call the doctor?"
"Shut up," Aiden glared at Elliot.
"Now, start eating," Myra ordered and started serving everyone. Elaina never expected that the Black family would accept her like this. She doesn't feel any anger from them. Everyone started eating while having a cute fight with each other. Elaina was just admiring everyone.
After dinner, Austin and Myra went for a brief walk in the garden. Elliot said, "Hey, Sis-in-law, please open the gift box."
Aiden sighed and said, "Nothing is like that. It was just..."
"Open it, Sis-in-law," Elliot said and handed a gift bag to Elaina. Elaina hesitantly accepted the bag and pulled out a small gift from inside.
"Wow, red wrap," Amelia chuckled. She was more excited than Elaina. Aiden sat on the round table in the living hall, and Amelia and Elliot sat next to Elaina. Slowly, Elaina unwrapped the box and found a brand-new phone.
"Just wow," Amelia chirped excitedly.
"iPhone 14 pro max," Elliot said loudly and clapped for Aiden.
"Wow, did you gift a phone to the doctor?" Elliot asked and clicked a selfie. He saw the picture to Aiden and said, "Do you want me to send it to the doctor?"
"Nope," Aiden got up and tried to catch Elliot, but he escaped. Suddenly, they feel that the atmosphere became tense. The servants were walking uneasily and hurriedly.
"Brother," Elliot shouted and ran away from there. Aaron was standing at the main door of the house. Amelia got up and ran away from there. Aiden was nowhere to be seen.
Elaina couldn't cope with the situation, what's exactly happening, she looked here and there for all guys, but she didn't find anyone. Her gaze fell on Aaron, who was standing at the entrance with a mask of anger on his face.
Elaina gulped hard and stood up immediately. She wanted to run away from there to save herself from his angry face, but her bad luck, she has to face him in the bedroom. She thought, "It would be better to face him here.
"Who bought this for you?" Aaron asked her. She felt dumbfounded. She saw her husband after a week of their marriage and he is asking her about the phone.
"Aiden," Before Elaina could reply, Myra entered the hall and replied, "Because I asked him to buy it for her. You didn't care for her, so we need to do this on your behalf."
"Why would I?" Aaron sneered at Elaina. His sharp gaze was glued on Elaina. Elaina was feeling scared now. She felt that he was scanning her.
"She is your wife," Myra replied.
"I don't consider her."
"But I do," Myra said rudely.
Aaron didn't argue more and headed toward the stairs. Elaina took a breath in relief. Myra came and console her. She said, "No worry. It will take time."
Elaina nodded and picked up the gift bag and the phone box. She entered the room with fear on her face, but her good luck, he was not in the room. She sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. She muttered, "Devil from somewhere."
Elaina twitched her lips and muttered loudly, "Devil Black. Can't he be soft with a beautiful girl like me?"
"Who told you to marry the Devil Black?" Someone asked the question.
Elaina replied to the question without thinking further, "Myself. I was crazy about him. I heard a lot about him on the internet. So, I was already in love with his fantasies and he came in front of me. what would I do? I forced him to marry me and Mr Devil Black is my..."
Then, she realised, whom she was speaking. She got up and whirled to see Aaron standing on the other side of the bed. Her heart skipped a bit. He was only in the towel wrapped around his lower and his hair was wet, dripping water droplets on his perfectly built muscles.
"He is more handsome than I imagine," She muttered under her breath.
She stepped back, but Aaron came rapidly close to her. In the blink of an eye, Aaron was an inch away from Elaina. She hiccuped and stared at Aaron.
"You love to play a game, let's play the game of marriage again," Aaron hissed and nuzzled her neck. Elaina was losing her sense. His fresh fragrance was filling her nostrils. She closed her eyes to feel Aaron. Quickly, Aaron unzipped her dress and threw her on the bed. Elaina wasn't ready for that. Her red lingerie was adding a hit to the atmosphere of the room.
"Now, you are my wife, so I have all rights to fuck you, am I right?" Aaron groaned and leaned to her lips. She begged, "Please, stop it."
She closed her eyes and looked away as if she wanted to push him away. She wants him to accept her but not this way. Here, Aaron knows very well about Indian culture, so he was sure that Elaina would not get ready to have sex with him. So, he used it as his weapon to scare her.
He lowered his head and saw her white collarbone. He deeply inhaled and hovered over her. She felt insecure and tried to scream, but Aaron placed his palm over her mouth. He bent down and sucked her collarbone. She was trembling on the bed and wriggling beneath him.
He bit on her collarbone harshly. He didn't stop until her skin bleed. He huskily whispered, "You truly identify me. I'm the Devil. This is the trailer. You still have time to escape."
Aaron got up rapidly and warned, "Just get out of my life."
"Just get out of my life," Aaron

Epilogue One Year Later — Tuscany, Italy Golden sunlight spilled across the rolling hills of Tuscany, casting long shadows over the stone-paved courtyard of the Black family villa. The air was sweet with the scent of wild lavender and the faint aroma of fresh bread baking in the kitchen. Elaina stood at the edge of the vineyard, her hands wrapped around a warm mug of coffee. A soft breeze teased the hem of her white sundress and ruffled her freshly cut hair. She gazed out at the vines, her heart wrapped in a sense of peace she had never truly known before. Behind her, soft laughter echoed—children’s voices, followed by the deep chuckle of a man who had once been broken, but now stood whole again. Aaron Black. He was lying on a picnic blanket, head resting on Ivana’s lap, while Ivan and Diana played nearby with two of the panther cubs—now fully grown and lazing lazily under the sun. Elliot and Misha sat beneath a tree, arguing over a charcuterie board. Misha was pregnant, an
The days passed quietly in Darjeeling, like warm sunlight filtering through autumn leaves—soft, golden, and a little nostalgic.Aaron’s recovery was steady. The scars on his chest still ached in the morning, but they no longer held the weight of pain. His heart, once battered by guilt, had found rhythm again in Elaina’s presence. She hadn’t spoken about forgiveness directly, but her eyes were softer, her tone calmer, and her hands lingered longer on his when no one was watching. The villa had resumed its serenity. The panther cubs played freely now, Shyla never straying far from them. Blackie stood guard like a silent sentinel, often seen watching Aaron from a distance—perhaps still judging him, perhaps finally accepting him.One crisp evening, Aaron stood by the balcony overlooking the hills, sipping warm tea. The clouds hung low, painting the sky in brushstrokes of grey and gold. Behind him, Elaina stepped out, arms crossed.“You’ll catch a cold,” she murmured. He turned, smiling. “
Elaina didn’t inform Aaron’s family about his condition—not even Myra or Austin. She made Amelia and Elliot promise not to say a word. Only they were in touch with their parents, offering vague reassurances and diverting suspicions.Aaron was recovering quickly, thanks to Elaina’s meticulous care. She never left his side and didn’t press on unresolved issues between them. Once he was stable, Elaina quietly left Darjeeling for a few days, needing space to reflect. Meanwhile, Ivaan had started warming up to Aaron. Ivana, ever the sunshine in their lives, seemed complete—her family finally whole. One calm afternoon, Aaron decided it was time to speak with Elaina about their future—about returning to New York. He stepped into the garden where his children were playing, laughter ringing through the trees.“Hey champ, where’s your mom?” Aaron asked, ruffling Ivan’s hair.Ivan pointed upwards. “Maybe there—on the terrace.”Aaron looked up and saw Elaina nestled in the hammock, sipping coffee
For a few moments, Elaina forgot the pain given to her by Aaron. Aaron gave her a quizzy look. She swallowed hard and whispered, “My friend is on the way to help us.” “Well, my force is already here. Ishan is a child, he should not play with his own life,” Aaron answered back. He was angry and anger was dripping with each word. “Ohk,” Elaina held his hand and they walked towards the Mansion. As Ishan’s men saw Elaina and Aaron, they laughed like maniacs. They let them get inside and stood again at their places. “Welcome, Mr Aaron Black, the capo of the Black Panther group,” Ishan clapped as soon as he saw Elaina and Aaron entering the mansion. He was overconfident about his rented power. “Thanks, Mr Arora, but let me tell you, ” Aaron smirked. Ishan got his evilness. But this time, he was overconfident. Aaron took a quick view of the living hall. Blackie and Shyla were tied with the biggest pillar of the hall. Their two cubs were kept in a big tub, which was filled with water
Elaina was groaning with anger. She was silently counting from 100 to 1, to control her anger. But nothing works. Her anger has crossed the limit, still, she was trying because the lawyer advised her not to misbehave with Aaron. Finally, the hold of her tolerance broke down. She pulled out her shoes and threw them at Aaron. Aaron was expecting this. So, he managed to escape. He winced, “Elaina, listen to me. Please.” “You, bastard. You… bloody mother fucker,” Elaina rushed to him and grabbed his collar. “If Iva didn't beg a favour to protect you, you would be killed by me before I kill Shahnavaz,” Elaina was so angry now. Her breathing was high. She pushed him and kicked on his leg, which made Aaron fall on his knee. He wasn't ready for that. Within a second, he realised that she was out of control now. He whirled on the land and stood up immediately. But Elaina was too rapid, she slayed her hand, which caused a bone-cracking pain in Aaron’s left hand. Before he could defe
As everyone rushed inside the room. They saw Amelia and Elliot on the bed, hiding behind Ivan and glued to the corner of the wall. Ivan and Ivana are laughing endlessly. “Calm down, Shyla,” Angad came forward and tried to calm down the female Black Panther. Blackie growled and came close to Shyla. She is his mate. She understood something and she walked aside in the room with Blackie. Akhilesh came forward and said, “Don't be scared. They are family. They live with us and they don't hurt.” Amelia and Elliot were still shocked. Another big black panther was roaming in the room. They were quivering tip to toe. As Blackie saw Aaron. He started snuggling into Aaron’s legs. Aaron bowed and caressed its fur. Seeing, Blackie playing with Aaron, Shyla bowed to Aaron. Though everything was normal, Elliot and Amelia could not be normal. “Blackie, I will introduce you tomorrow, go for now,” Aaron ordered. Blackie went to grab his baby and Shyla also followed him. They picked up their
