Valentino miaz

Kiara's POV

I looked at him as though he had grown a second head.

" I don't think I understand where you are going.." I tried to say, feigning innocence.

Under the dim light, he rolled his eyes before looking at me again.

" The look in your eyes tells me that you know exactly what I'm talking about." He says.

My heart was pounding. I have been married to my husband, Dylan for four years and I have dated him since six.

He was the first person to take my virginity and up till I started realizing his infidelity, I thought he was going to be the last.

But here was a man, a man that I was so greatly attracted to, his body alone turning me on greater than my husband ever did, offering me a one night stand.

" But...what about your job?" I asked him.

I could not believe it. I was actually considering his request. My child was home and here I was considering sleeping with another man to help me get over my husband.

" I actually own the club. So I can go whenever I want." He said and nothing could have prepared me for that twist.

He looked rich, wealthier than an average bartender could be. How had I not noticed that?

Now my head was blank again. I wanted to do it. I knew that deep within me, but I was scared. Scared of the consequences of having a one night stand with a man that I knew nothing about.

" Fine. Let's do that. But I have to finish my drink first" I said, shocking myself.

Another smirk lit up his face.

" You can take your time mi cara" he said.

It was just when he spoke that I finally did realize that I did not know his name.

" And what is your name?" I asked.

" Valentino. Valentino miaz" he said.

It sounded so familiar. Like someone I knew but not personally. I was trying to piece in the prices, figure out just what precisely I was missing but I couldn't. Where did I hear his name from?

" My name is Kiara." I said, glad that he did not ask for my husband's name as that would just be too informal.

I remembered Maya and I jumped out of my seat quickly, muttering something about having to make a call.

I left the club, going to a more quiet spot as I dialed the number of my caretaker.

" Hi, I won't be coming home today. Can you please put Maya to bed and clean up?" I asked.

" Mr Jones is back home madame. He is furious and asking me why you were not back yet" she said, her voice hushed as though she did not want him to hear her talking to me.

My heart ached with anger. Where did this man buy his audacity?

As though he was keeping record of my life, his call came in almost immediately I dropped my caretaker's call.

I contemplated picking it, until finally, I picked it up.

" Where the hell are you Kiara! What kind of a mother leaves her child at home to go out?" He yelled into the receiver.

I looked at the phone screen again, shocked.

" I am out with someone. I will be back home by morning" I said to him.

" You wouldn't dare! Come back this instant or I promise to bring your father's company to ruins with just one phone call" he said.

Oh. Of course. That threat again. The only reason why I still remained in this marriage and the only reason why he walked on me like I was a rag.

" I won't be coming back today Dylan. The maid cooked dinner. You can ask her to help you heat it up. Maya would be out to be in a few minutes so you don't have to worry about her. I will be back tomorrow morning" I said to him fiercely.

The only thing his tone did was make me reaffirm my decision to have that one night stand with Valentino. To make it feel like I was getting back at him for all the trauma I felt.

He was just about to yell another profanity at me when I ended the call abruptly, my body feeling giddy.

A black and white magazine caught my eye, sticking out of the dustbin.

I peered at it curiously before sticking my hand in to bring out the magazine.

In the dim lights, I could see the first page covered with the face of the man I just met, the same man I was going to have a one night stand with.

" Youngest billionaire sets to make waves with a new innovation" it read.

I stared at it more times for comfort until the name finally clicked.

That was where I heard the name. On the pages of magazines like this and on my TV screen.

Valentino miaz. The owner of a multi billion company with branches all over the world, rising to fame at the young age of 16 when he took over his family business due to their early deaths.

The destabilization that came with that realization was intense. I went through the stages of surprise quickly as I clutched onto the magazine

That Valentino miaz was in the club house. That Valentino miaz wanted me.
