- Maive's POV -

"Oh. I assume that you are not aware. Zoren and I are old acquaintances."

I looked at Daxton's facial expression. Was he aware that our parents were friends before? Or was he also shocked by it?

He had no expression that I could read when I stared at him. He was staring blankly at his food. He was not surprised, so he probably knew about it. I wonder why he did not tell me this. Probably because he did not think it was something important. But everything about my parents is very important.

"He’d be happy that I got to meet his friend," I responded to Daxton's father.

He laughed a bit. "He’d be surprised at how small the world is."

I nodded at his remark. He was right. The world seems to be getting smaller now. Everything that was happening in my life was all related to Daxton.

I remained quiet after that. I wanted to ask about his relationship with my father, but he looked too intimidating to be asked. I will ask my grandmother about that. She surely knows.

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   Don't Tell Me

    - Gabriela's POV -My father held my shoulders and pulled me up, forcing me to stand on my bed.I snorted at him. "Dad, I don't want to talk to him," I said, getting more stubborn than ever.He snorted back at me. I probably acquired that habit from him."Then go tell him that. You should face him, Gab," my father said firmly."Dad, just tell him to go."I just don’t have the courage to stand in front of him—not after what happened that night. That gala night… After leaving him, I felt so guilty. I almost went back to tell him that I really liked him too. However, when I was hypnotized, that was when I realized I had been right all along. I would only ruin him, and I definitely did. He was almost killed when he ran into the black witches’ den just to rescue us. He shouldn’t have done that. He should have been thinking of his life, not mine. That event only convinced me even more that I shouldn’t go near him. It would be better for both of us. It would prevent more misfortune. It would

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   I Don't Like You

    - Gabriela's POV –"Why don't you face your visitor?" It was my father. He had been convincing me to go out since the morning, and now, it was already afternoon.I covered my face with a pillow. He had been visiting me for days. He wasn’t dense enough to not know that I wasn’t going to face him. He should have understood it by now."Dad, please just tell him that I don't feel well." I said, trying to reason out why I didn't want to go out and face him. I just feel like I should do this for our sake.I could imagine my dad crossing his arms at me. He was probably getting frustrated, and honestly, I was really frustrated too. Why does Butch need to come here every day? He is making it even harder for me."You’ve been giving him that excuse for days, Gab..." my father said. His frustration was evident in his voice.I didn’t respond. I rolled over my bed, the pillow still covering my face.We should not be seeing each other. I am ashamed that those vampires kidnapped us. I am ashamed that

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   I Am Smiling

    - Cyrus’ POV - I sneaked inside Leidea’s mansion. I don’t even know why I’m doing this. I just keep finding myself sneaking into their house from time to time ever since that kidnapping incident happened. It’s probably my conscience eating me alive for bringing her into such a mess. If only I didn’t leave her that night… If only I stayed and protected her, then she wouldn’t have been abducted by those witches. She wouldn’t have been hurt. She was bleeding excessively when we came to rescue them. She was almost unconscious when we got to her, and the thought of it makes me feel guilty. I am certain that those witches found out she is my mate. I wonder how…It has been three days, and she’s still unconscious. It makes me really worried about her.On the third night, I heard footsteps, which made me hide in the darkness. It might be vampires trying to hurt her again. I will surely protect her no matter what. No one has the right to touch her.I’m not assured of her safety in this place

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   It Was You

    - Anne’s POV -When I opened my eyes, all I could think was, “It hurts.” I am used to pain, but right now it’s a very different kind of hurt. I want to curse every witch for making me feel like I’m dying when I have nothing to do with them.Do I?I don’t know what got into their minds for taking me and my friends.I suddenly panicked the moment I remembered everything, instinctively acting in defense, thinking I was still in the hands of those black witches. I was relieved when I realized I was in my bedroom.I actually have no memory of how I got home. All I remember is that something came out of Maive’s hand. It was like some sort of light—powerful and illuminating. I don’t know. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I don’t know where it came from. All I know is that no werewolf could ever do that. Is she really not a werewolf? That illuminating light burned the black witches. I don’t know how that’s even possible. After that, I remember Cyrus heading toward me. He was bleeding, de

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   Kissing Him

    - Daxton's POV –After talking with my father, I decided to go to my room to talk to her. I just wanted to make sure the lunch we had earlier didn’t make her uncomfortable. My father was rude to her, but I doubt she noticed it.I was a bit rude to her as well. I just can’t accept the fact that she was thinking of another man while she was with me. I am quite possessive—I really dislike the thought of her with another man. She should only be thinking about me.She’s mine and only mine. When I reached the front door of my room, I knocked several times. However, there was no response from her. I waited a bit longer, thinking she might have fallen asleep or something. But in the end, my impatient self won. I panicked a little at the thought that she might be hurt again, which made me decide to enter the room on my own.The moment I stepped inside, she screamed her lungs out. It made me panic even more, afraid that someone was trying to hurt her again. My body moved on its own as I ran tow

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   The Real Arman

    - Maive's POV -The lunch with his family is pretty decent, I think. It was way better than I had expected. I expected it to be worse, so I prepared for the worst, and what happened was nothing more than I expected.I just felt uncomfortable whenever they stared at my neck, and I wondered why. It felt more noticeable after that encounter with the witches. I could also feel some heat from it. I don't know, I can't describe it really well.I sighed as I looked around. This place is huge. Well, it is really a castle, so it is way bigger than I knew it could be. I sat on the bench outside their castle, getting some fresh air. I felt suffocated inside their castle. I just do not belong there. I miss my nagging grandmother."In deep thoughts?"I looked around to see that it was Daxton's mother. She looked really elegant. Her facial features were soft, and it was calming. She sat next to me.I smiled as I shook my head."How is your head?" She asked."It's getting better," I paused. "I apolo
