- Maive's POV -

"Kill them. I don't care if it kills me," I said to Daxton as I was getting weaker.

My feet couldn't move; I was glued and stuck due to fatigue and tiredness.

But the witches got mad at what I said. "Shut your mouth, you bitch!" Lucy exclaimed.

I then felt that I was being choked. It was the same as earlier. They were using a spell to grip my throat, probably trying to kill me. I tried holding my neck, trying to get whatever was choking me, but there was nothing, as if a powerful invisible entity was doing it.

I couldn't breathe and I was losing air. Damn.

"Don't you fucking touch her!" I heard Daxton roar, and it echoed around the building. The way he said those words made me tremble. He was terrifying.

I tried searching for him, and when I laid my eyes on Daxton, I found him dashing towards the witch who was casting a spell on me.
